Incredible food and extremely affordable with huge portions! This place is a must go
Rude owner. Saw her yell at staff and yell at me too because I had already cleared my food from my table. Pic of rude owner. Shame because I would have enjoyed returning but don't support owners like this.
How hard is to fill simple noodle orders in a timely manner to a restaurant that’s 1/3 full? Very hard for this place apparently. Nearly 30 minutes for one simple noodle dish. Good thing the tip was added automatically added at the POS.
Perfect on a rainy day! We had the Braised Beef Noodles which were delicious with loads of beef in the bowl. I had tea as well, advertised as Jasmine, but it was actually high quality Oolong tea. No complaints.
The pot stickers were delicious, and I enjoyed the Lu Ro Fan as well. Portions could be more generous, but it was certainly enough food.
My second time at this establishment and was served steamed dumplings that were completely raw on the inside but appeared to be cooked on the outside. I notified staff after I had eaten one and the teenager running the cash register took that charge off of my bill. She told me she would let the manager know what happened and I watched through the window as she explained to him what happened and pointed to me. Well one would expect that when management came out a few minutes later that he would apologize for my experience and refund my entire purchase, but instead he simply smiled in my face and asked everyone dining outside if they were enjoying their food. I guess the thirty bucks the restaurant made off of my order that day was more important than my wellbeing as a customer. I left feeling very puzzled by that management response and will not return.
Best Chinese food in Boulder and it isn't close
I feel like the food was better 15+ years ago (like so many places were). It often is lackluster and greasy. Luckily they have all the condiments out that you could want so it’s easy to doctor it up with flavor and it’s overall inexpensive. Not sure how they won a Michelin star… but it is great for quick and easy Asian food, especially the soup when feeling a cold coming on.

My family and I have been coming here since I was a little girl. Definitely recommend the zajiangmen and Dan Dan noodles. Food is always excellent and the owners are awesome!

While the service is great, the food is incredibly disappointing and overpriced. Mediocre taste and TINY portions. Ordered to go
...got home to find out we paid $13 for a few pieces of bok choy! To-go bowls were both half empty. Had to order Dominos after eating this to not go hungry. Lesson learned.

Good food, fast and super friendly service in a brand new clean space. Can’t ask for much more for a quick lunch or dinner. The pearl meatballs were 👌

This not being higher rated is an absolute travesty. This is one of the best restaurants in Boulder, and is my personal number one. The Dan Dan Mian is one of the best noodle dishes I’ve ever had. The CPR is just the best when you’re craving something warm and soothing. The rotating specials always hit as well. Been coming here for years and years, couldn’t ask for better.
The food is fine, not great , but interesting. My bill had a 15% service charge. I hate this. If you can't pay your staff then raise your prices. But don't surprise me with this charge. It was a take out order. No service was given.
