Chef was great. Host was a bit pushy but we've been here 3 years straight on vacation and we'll keep coming back.

My son has a serious wheat allergy. We eat at hibachi restaurants all the time and they accommodate either by cooking first before anything else has been cooked or they’re able to use a gluten free soy sauce. He’s 9, so this isn’t our first rodeo and we don’t make a big deal of it. We ordered shrimp for him and made note of his allergy. The server took note and said ok. The chef comes out and confirms the orders. My wife asked if he had a note of the gluten allergy. He then proceeded to yell in Japanese to the server back and forth while pointing at my wife. The server tried to get my wife to agree to make my sons dinner in the kitchen. We decided at this point it wasn’t worth the fight and my son wasn’t that hungry so we said no just cancel the order the chef continued to cook, starting with the fried rice. Once he was done, he literally flung it all onto my wife’s plate on top of her fork. The fried rice was overcooked and dry and heavily seasoned. My two daughters ordered fillet one was medium, and the other was medium rare. The one that was rare came out last and was obviously overcooked. The server was rude. The chef was rude. The food was subpar at best, and needless to say we will not be returning. $250 for a dinner most of us didn’t eat. Oh and they add an automatic 20% gratuity to ur check. Seems like they know they’re providing horrible service and mediocre food. I would highly recommend you steer clear of this place.

Let me tell you - I did leave with a sake stained shirt and a major tummy ache, and did not have a good time. Usually when I dine out, I hope to eat good food. Usually when I go to hibachi, I expect a chef who will do an onion volcano correctly and engage with his constituents. Boy - was I wrong. I will - pardon, shall not ever return to this barren hibachi restaurant. No passion. No love. Only sake stains. I hope they will pick up my dry cleaning bill.

Hibachi chef we had should have his hibachi license revoked. Some of the worst service and hibachi atmosphere I’ve seen in 30

I don’t know if I have ever had a worst eating experience in my life. The chef did not give a crap about anything - he served our vegetables at the end, shot sake all over our bodies , and had zero enthusiasm. The food was okay enough but I would never recommend this place to anyone. Zero effort . Zero care . Zero

The hostess and our server were so rude. We were cursed if we asked a question and I would not recommend. She told us to leave when we asked about our reservation and honestly we should have seeing as the service was awful following. The only good part was our hibachi chef. The girl in the front needs to go, I worked in hospitality plenty and can if you have a bad day your job is to make the experience good. She was awful.

We had a wonderful hibachi experience here. It was Sam’s first day and we he was fantastic! The staff was wonderful, the cocktails amazing, so happy with our dinner here. Make reservations as they can get very busy. We made reservations for when they opened on a Tuesday night to avoid the crowds. Highly recommend their buns too (we got an order to add as appetizers). Thanks again to everyone at Asobi and great job Sam!

They charge you extra for allergies. (Dairy in our case) bc it causes “extra work for the chef” except we were the only ones at the table so it didn’t cause extra work. Then the meals come with salad but the dressing has dairy. We asked them to sub miso soup for it and they refused and said they would give us lettuce. We asked for a manager and they said no manager. No substitutions bc they are a ski resort is what they told us. We spent over 250$ and it was ridiculous. The rice was crunchy, the food had a ton of pepper in it. But the service was the biggest thing.Dietary restrictions: They charge you extra and are not helpful for substitutions.

Hostess was rude, and we waited 15 mins after our reservation. We then waited for more drinks for 40 mins. Salad had thousand island dressing which was weird. The chef was great, which was the only redeeming quality. Great entertainment from the drunk tweens down the table.

This place was not what I remembered from 3 years ago. I was not impressed. The rice tasted like Uncle Ben's microwave bag. We waited 30 minutes to even have someone come to our table and there were multiple servers standing around doing nothing.

Gosh the people who work here seem to hate their life. The ladies at the front were hard to deal with, but the chefs were fun to be around. The food was honestly better than I'd expect. You choose what kind of protein you want and they give you a show. Fun to come in groups.

Food is bland and over priced. Ate there twice since I was staying at the condo above it. Waste of money and you'll pay for eating it in the end

Bland Food Was bland. No flavor. Tiny shrimp. Very expensive. And they don't deliver past like 8:20. Too expensive for what you're paying.
