Ordered duck jerky online and was super excited to try it. Unfortunately, my $50 was wasted because all the packs of jerky were as hard as actual bricks. Wouldn’t even give this to my dog. Super disappointed, I would have been a monthly customer for life if it was good as I love duck and jerky but this was a major let down.

Have tried multiple times over multiple years. The samples are awesome! The take home is dry, chewy, stale and very overpriced..better off buying Jack links from city market..

Oh my - this was as delightful surprise. I thought I had jerky before, but it's incomparable to what I enjoyed at Climax Jerky. After I tried it I was blown away - I might have guessed that it would cost twice as much since its clear Climax uses some great cuts of meat and the best ingredients. Next time, I'm going for the smoked elk and some teriyaki beef, and recommend it to you as well.Cheers!

Was visiting family and we went to Vail for an evening so my niece and nephew could continue their skiing education and so my brother, 3 year old niece and I were walking both Lion's Head and Vail Village when we spotted the Holiday market where small vendors set up small areas to show off their wares. We walked by the jerky spot and my brother (who doesn't eat red meat) said he was a big fan of salmon jerky. I like jerky in general- so we made a note to pop over here after lunch. Wish we stopped earlier! Brooke has samples out so that people can get a small bite of various flavors and meats. She has what some people would consider exotic (alligator) and some unique ones (elk, etc). I picked up a bag of garlic peppered jerky and got some turkey jerky for my brother. Lucky for us, it was the last bag. Bought my sister in law some regular jerky. All 3 bags totaled $35ish. With the price of meat being what it is, you know what you're doing here- supporting small owned businesses and also getting unique flavors and options. They have an actual storefront location in Dillon, so if you want to get a taste of what they have to offer prior to purchasing, you get that chance. Each pack is vacuum sealed, so I had no worries about being fresh when I got back home. I'll bust this out the next football Sunday when I hang with friends. Support small owned businesses!

AMAZING Jerky - trust me I've eaten a lot of jerky in my lifetime and this is some of the best out there. I bought some for my family as gifts and they rave about it too - I love supporting small businesses with a quality product and Climax Jerky will be a staple in my home.
2 Dec 20 - ordered different kinds of jerky for my son-in-law Chris who is in the Coast Guard and serving overseas in Spain. He loves jerky and I found this company on line where you can order it with free shipping. They have great Customer Service because I have gotten four emails from them already and the jerky was shipped this afternoon. I still have to buy him some Colorado ground coffee, Boyers at the grocery store before I can mail him this care package for Christmas. Because of the excellent service I have gotten from this company I plan to order more jerky for Chris while he is serving his country in Spain.

It's pretty pricey, but the jerky's are all very tender and so good! The employees are also very patient and will make good recommendations as well--sample everything! Then buy everything, lol. I love their spicy jerky (any type)--there's a really nice heat to them!
