I visited Semplice during my trip to Colorado in mid October 2024. When I tell you, this is the best breakfast spot I’ve ever had. The staff were insanely funny and the panini & matcha I got were heavenly (I’m dramatic but it’s true). I’ve thought about this place constantly ever since I had it and I’m so mad we don’t have this exact cafe in Illinois.

Absolutely the best breakfast burritos in Breckenridge, and the coffee is good too. You order at a window and sit outside, or take the food with you. Really, the folks in town know how good it is because there are usually people waiting out front for them to open in the AM.

Really appreciated the friendly service on my first visit- staff gave me great recommendations for local places to visit. They also did their best to make an Australian cappuccino- the cinnamon was a great twist! My toast with avocado, tomato, bacon bits and what crazy Americans call arugula (rocket!) was fresh and healthy. Lots of vegan options here. A nice place to sit on a sunny day.
Recommend the Kim K panini. So good!!! Turkey, arugula, goat cheese, peach jam & balsamic.

Well it would have been better if they hadn’t given me the wrong sandwich that said gluten free but was not, so I had gluten for the first time in many years. They also did not apologize and instead asked why we needed the sandwiches remade after I explained the labeling error. They specifically asked if I had celiac when ordering and I told them yes. Can’t believe I got a gluten free recommendation from google and this happened, big mistake to make and again not apologize for their error.
