Traverse Restaurant & Bar Reviews
Great host! We captured a wedding there and they made us feel right at home, and our rooms had amazing views.
DO NOT STAY HERE! BROKE MY COMPUTER AND IGNORED ME!
Thank you to the Lodge at Breckenridge, I am left with a repair of over $1,000 for my laptop due to their negligence and improper handling of my property.
I stayed at this hotel from February 21-23 for a ski trip, and it was a complete nightmare. When I checked out, I left my bags with the front desk while I went into town for lunch. When I returned to pick them up, my laptop was broken—clearly dropped while...read full review
We recently spent a few days at the Lodge at Breckinridge. We had a beautiful room with wrap around windows that had the most magnificent views we have ever had at any hotel previously. The beds were so comfortable, room was immaculate and so quiet. Our meals at their restaurant were fantastic, especially the filet in a Demi glaze sauce. The staff was so friendly, helpful and efficient. We liked it there so much that we asked to stay an additional night and canceled our previous...read full review

Traverse Restaurant & Bar provides stunning views and a relaxed atmosphere, especially as it approaches closing time. The views are often described as the best in Breckenridge, and many guests have been pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. The steak is tender, and the fries are crispy, while the trout is light and flaky. The elk tenderloin receives particular praise for its excellent flavor, enhanced by the sauces it's served with. Standouts include the elk, steak frites, and pasta. A favorite among guests is the sweet-and-sour Brussels sprouts, charred to perfection. The restaurant also offers a diverse menu, with highlights like the Caesar salad with salmon and great toasted Brussels sprouts. Parking is conveniently available right next to the restaurant. While there have been some complaints about overcooked meat and high prices for dry steak, the service is frequently described as excellent and friendly, with staff being attentive. Some diners noted a rushed service at times, but overall, the dining experience is considered very positive. This makes it a wonderful choice for special occasions, including anniversaries and holidays, as well as for guests looking for a bit more than the usual offerings on Main Street.
