Best little family style sushi ever. Wasabi Breckenridge is very close to what you might find in a small village in Japan. It is truly unpretentious, cozy and welcoming. If you’re looking for fancy American style sushi, or in J. Well’s case perhaps Dominoes Pizza is more your style (he gave them 5 stars), Denver has you covered. For those of you looking for truly delicious sushi, gyoza and the best miso soup you’ll ever taste, Wasabi is a little wabi-sabi gem at 10,000 feet.

Easily the best and most reasonably priced sushi in Breckenridge. The owners are the ones cooking everything and running the place so it’s very much a small family business vibe. Server was very friendly and sushi was very good. Would recommend this place over others on Main Street that will charge nearly twice as much for a lesser quality roll.

Our server was overwhelmed, only one working and trying to juggle the whole restaurant. Ordered the kids' food first, teriyaki chicken and rice about 10 minutes before we placed a Sushi order. About 15 minutes after that, we ordered Udon & Soba noodles. The Udon came out, then the Sushi, 10 minutes later the kids food arrived. Soba noodles came at the end... family couldn't eat together because of the delays in food and temperature. The Sushi (Philadelphia & Dragon roll) both had a very odd, old fish taste to them. Had to send them back.
Pretty sure both of my kids got food poisoning from the restaurant as they both got pretty I'll.
Definitely do not recommend!

Small, poorly made rolls for an average price. The maki really seemed to be assembled by an amateur with loose, soggy rice and then sliced into uneven pieces with a dull knife. We ordered an avalanche roll which had only the tiniest amount of salmon and included imitation crab to make up the difference, but imitation crab isn’t mentioned on the menu.

The restaurant is full of random boxes and really not tidy, but the creekside patio is pleasant.

Small rolls that fall apart for an obscene price. My husband and I are both from big cities not from this state and we've both been missing sushi since we live in an area of Colorado that doesn't offer sushi for dine in or take out.

This isn't our first time living in Colorado so we know it's not devoid of amazing sushi, but I'm starting to wonder if it's hit a "drought". Straight up rip off, especially since take out is an indulgence for us that we decided to try on a whim while picking up things in town we needed once a week.

We definitely won't be back. Two hours later we were rummaging through our fridge, trying to get creative and figuring out what we could slap together because we were both starving which was exactly what we were trying to avoid living in the middle of nowhere with everything closed and a little one to look after. Wish we'd saved the money for a million other things we needed. Smallest rainbow rolls we've ever seen.

Also, for sushi enthusiasts, the "wasabi" may be piped in the shape of a flower, but I feel the need to inform those of you who don't know any better, actual "wasabi" in the states doesn't exist. It's horseradish. All I can think about is "horseradish Japanese restaurant." ?

Smallest rolls we have ever had for the normal average price. Two of the four rolls were pretty good tasting, again, just really small and falling apart. The gyoza was good. Restaurant is tiny, they do have outside seating but only three tables, pretty tight outside as well. Considering everything, we wouldn’t return. Spent over $100 and left hungry.

Food is okish but service is bad (dinner before closing time) and atmosphere is sad.Place is expensive overall and more for what it is,Waitress was cleaning and eating while taking our order.Even we were only two adults, they added a 22% mandatory gratuity.Would not recommend it or come back

You pay for the food here not the ambiance. Small, inside a local mall, plastic tables with vinyl tablecloth... But the food and service were phenomenal. I am admittedly a snobby New Yorker when it comes to sushi and I genuinely enjoyed the food here.

Nice location, set back from the street. The rolls will be smaller than you will get anywhere else. The nigiri sushi ordered fell apart. You will pay 20% automatic gratuity regardless of party size. But it's Breck and Sushi.

It was busy, so the atmosphere was good. The food was good. Just realize that these sushi rolls are half (if that) the size of normal American sushi rolls. Just double the menu prices to reflect the quantity you are used to.
