Crumbl - Brighton

I was excited to try this place, even though its expensive, but it was recomended, so i was on my way to my boyfriends moms house, thought I would bring us all a treat. His daughter was also there, so this totals 4 people including myself. After waiting quite awile, I was going to get the larger cookies, then learned 3 of the options were not available (all the ones that were wanted of course) so, I figured just get the smaller ones, since I have to get ones that were not really wanted anyway, no need to spend the extra money. so I told her I need 4 cookies, i was told i cannot do that..( i did see single cookie on menu) so, i thought maybe i worded something wrong, so I said ok then I will get 3 pack plus one more single/individual cookie. I was again told that I could not do that. I said i need 4 cookies, there are 4 people. You are telling me i cannot purchase 4 cookies, she said thats correct. i asked again, just to be sure saying you cannot sell me 4 cookies, she said no i cannot. I briefly considered just getting 3 cookies and not get one for myself, but then thought why do I want to give any of my hard earned money to a buisness that refuses to sell me the 4 cookies needed. so, I walked out and left. Now, I dont know if it was inexperience/ignorance on the employee working that was the issue here, or if this buisness seriously will not allow you to buy 4 or how many ever cookies you wish to buy, as there was a single/individual option on menu. I work in customer service, it I feel like employee could have attempted to figure out a way to make it work, or discuss some kind of options with me, or in some way try to come up with a solution. Just being told NO several times without any kind of apology or ANY kind of care or concern has definatly left a bad taste in my mouth for this place, no matter how good your cookies may be, I believe some level of customer service should also be a factor. Maybe I am a little more sensitive due to the fact that I also work with customer service, but I Also know that I would never be able to say that to any of our guests, and I would never want to. I just hope this brings awareness and hope your able to do better in the future.

UPDATE: The owner/manager that says they will look into it, and apologize on this review page, actually does nothing in private email buy agree with the employees. As if I was not disappointed enough. SMH this is what's wrong with humanity and any kind of customer service these days. Just lie and say what you think people want to hear, but then do nothing but agree with your rude ass employee..unbelievable

I ordered 6 pies to be my family’s Thanksgiving dessert on Tuesday. I set my pickup time for 7:30 on Wednesday. I happened to be close to the store around noon on Wednesday so as stopped in ti see if I could pick up my order early. They said they were behind and I said no problem I’ll come back at my original pickup time. When I went back at my original pickup time they were out of not 1 but 2 flavors of the pies I ordered. I mentioned to the gal working that I was frustrated because I had stopped in earlier in the day and was turned away but at that point they had all the flavors and she asked “well why didn’t they give you your order then?” Great question! You tell me!

Can someone explain to me what the point of pre ordering stuff is if you’re not going to fulfill that order properly because you’ve given everything away to walk ins? I’ve also tried to reach out two different ways for a resolution with no answer back. Terrible customer service.

The food is always amazing. The service really needs work. When someone walks in you should say hello or we will be right with you. Something... not just let someone stand there for 15 to 20min. And not ask them what they need when your clearly standing at the pickup line. Smh. This isn't the first time this has happened here. I let it go the first time. But if im paying 33 bucks for 6 cookies, I'd like some decent service. I would rather just go to subway next door. Atleast they are polite and they have good cookies too. Service is EVERYTHING!
