I hadn't been here in years. The food was good, the atmosphere was how I remembered - everything was great except the waitress. Never came back for refills after she took my money that was enough to cover the tab *and* charged my friend's card that, giving herself an almost $20 tip. Didn't take the time to bring it up with the manager, but kind of disgusted by what happened. She definitely didn't provide good enough service for a $20 tip. I won't be coming back if the waitress is that dishonest. Disappointed.

First, I gotta say how incredible the food was. 10/10. I could go on about it for hours. Fun little vibe inside. It was really busy when we went, so the wait time was kinda long to get our food and drinks, and even our drink order, for that matter. It's a cool place to grab spectacular food our server was exceptional. We had to wait for a table for about 35 minutes, but after we took our bites, we understood why.

The food was absolutely tasteless. We asked for more of the jalapeño salsa, and was charged $1.25 for about an ounce. That was absolutely ridiculous. I would not recommend this restaurant.

We came here on a whim and ended up eating at the bar. Valerie and Fatima were behind the bar and made the bar atmosphere really cute! Super attentive and engaging. Food and drinks were amazing and we both agreed we’ll definitely be back. I discussed the restaurant at work the next day some of my coworkers are familiar with the place and also agreed the food and vibes are great.

The service at La Estrellita has definitely went downhill in the last year, i write this after several visits being sub par experiences. There is no lack of staffing, but the servers and hosts barely pay any attention and you're lucky to see them a time or 2 during your visit, management needs to take a look at this, because this place still has amazing food, but I will think twice before returning based on the service. This from a long time customer who has enjoyed La Estrellita at least 30 times in the last 4 years.
It’s always fantastic! Best Chili Rellenos in town and the 32oz connoisseur margarita is to die for!
