The food is so good!! Homemade and so reasonable. The staff is super sweet and you can tell they care about the community they have built. We will be back!

The kraut burgers are so good! We got the American, the Jack, and they have a breakfast one with bacon, egg, cheese and hashbrowns. It's worth the drive to Brighton. We bought a loaf of bread too. It's the same bread they use for the kraut burgers. You won't be disappointed.

Stopped in the other day for a few kraft burgers. Amazing as always. I can't believe they offer sauce as there is no way I would ever alter the Amazing flavor of these. Great job to every single person who works there. I was also very impressed with the young man training at the register. Good honest folks. I could only wish they were closer to my house. Love you all, keep up the good work

Somewhat of a cute little place. Nice people but I find the food very bland. I have eaten there several times over the years each time hoping I would be having a better taste experience. After last time it's not worth the effort. I had to take my German sausage, wrapped in a dough blanket home to finish cooking it as it was not completely cooked. The sausage was not quite done and very tasteless likewise the bread wrapped around it. Besides dipping, a reheated sandwich in a mix of garlic-butter and onions, this was pretty tasteless and very disappointing.
Faster service than most fast-food joints! Lauer Krauts offers a home-cooked meal for a reasonable price. They have take out and dine in with seating on a patio. The kraut burgers are fresh tasting, quite delicious, and go well with a cup of soup. They are made from real ground beef, no hint of soy or other filler. The lunch menu is minimal and predictable which allows the quality of the meal to be as good as the last time you visited. A great little place to grab a warm meal in town.

Took my German grandma here and she loved it. She was so excited that they had a German recipe book to look at inside. She initially wanted just a krautburger, and then changed her mind to eventually settle on a krautburger, the corn chowder bread bowl, and an apple kouga dessert. It was great to see her so happy and the food was good. Thank you for keeping our food culture alive Lauer Kraut ?
