Bachelorette Party!
We had my daughter’s bachelorette party at several local places in Brighton, and finished the night off at Alex’s Main Street Bar & Karaoke. We contacted Alex ahead of time to see if we could celebrate at his bar. He was very accommodating to what we had planned and was happy to let us celebrate there. He let us decorate tables and bring in some snacks for the party. Everyone had such a great time! The music was top notch, with a great variety of genres for listening, and dancing. The owner, Alex, was the DJ and did a great job with the variety. Karaoke was a blast!! The bartenders were all very cool and provided great service. The crowd was pretty diverse, and it was nice to see there were some bouncers looking out for safety.
Thank you for allowing us to have her party at your bar, and making it a memorable time for everyone. We will be going back to hang out and sing karaoke.

I am from out of town and just wanted something to eat and listen to. People sing this place. Could not provide food for the kitchen is closed and there was nobody in there except a bartender and he was watching Jeopardy. Really sad atmosphere. Too bad it look like a really nice place. Probably a weekend place

I genuinely hate to do 1 star because Alex (the owner) Jeff, Mark and Kayla (bartenders) are absolutely amazing, amazing drink prices and wonderful service, genuinely. But the DJ is the absolute worst you've ever dealt with. Dude sucks. He doesn't take requests at a karaoke bar?? Talked to him sober, talked to him drunk and everywhere in between, absolutely the worst and everyone that experiences him should say the same. Please give the bar a chance because it can be loads of fun, but the DJ is the absolute worst I've ever heard and I'm a degenerate, I've been around.

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND! Came here for a birthday party. We had a few beers, but we were charged WAY more than we should’ve been (almost double). We did forget to close out our tab at the end of the night so we didn’t receive a receipt but I knew they would add a 20% tip (which I totally understand). When I realized we were overcharged, I called the bar and spoke to the owner. I specifically asked how much they charged for the beers we had and that verified we were definitely overcharged. I asked the owner to look up our receipt, but he refused to. He was rude and unprofessional. I would not recommend this bar to anyone, and if you do go there, be careful with how you pay!

Milton the karaoke DJ played 10 regular songs before every karaoke singer. He also had his girlfriend up on the booth hugging him from the back as he was doing a bad job mixing.... The other staff working were great but it's called karaoke bar for a reason.

Absolutely worth stopping in. Staff is amazing vibe is great!! Well isn't cheap ass off brand liquor!! Get your ass in here!!

Alex's Main Street Bar is a fantastic spot with a great owner and friendly, engaging staff who keep the atmosphere lively and enjoyable. Whether you love performing, enjoying the music between sets, or simply watching and judging the performers, this place has something for everyone. I highly recommend visiting Alex's Main Street Bar for a memorable and entertaining experience.

What a fun place to hang out! We came here Friday and Saturday night and both nights, there was a good crowd and great people. We met lots of new friends and atmosphere was energetic. The staff was great. Chris did a fantastic job interacting with his customers and remembering our orders night to night. The karokee was a blast. Only wish, get a new door for the women's bathroom stall. It was only a curtain lol .

Evan is the best bartender! He has a great energy to him, hospitality on par, and immediately made my wife and I so comfortable. We came on my birthday and he was so hyped that we chose to come here! It was a Wednesday night and even though there was a small crowd it was such a fun time!

The owner sure loves his coke. And I'm not talking about the drink

Ordered a drink we could see behind the counter but said they didn't have it. :/ There was also no karaoke. This is a dive country bar.

Evan such a rude Bartender and it’s honestly disgusting. I asked for a simple drink and he acted like I was asking to solve world hunger. I am appalled with the lack of customer service. Do not come here if you want to be treated with a human.

This place is the worse bar in brighton, on 3 diffrent occasions, the owner at last call would kick me out but would let the person I rode there with stay and sleep it off in the back room, while I'm stuck walking 3+ miles back to my car. Definitely would not recommend

Song was full screamo. The owner came in put his hand on me and screamed to me and my friends”you better ID them”. We’re all over 22 and left immediately. Not a fun or cool environment go somewhere else.
