Old Chicago Pizza + Taproom

The hostesses are extremely rude. To have these young ladies at the front door with that kind of attitude is not good for business. I went to this location yesterday and asked to sit on the patio (had my dog with me) and was told that the patio is not an option. I then had to leave my dog in the car with the windows down and the car on with the AC. They sat me next to the window, so I was able to keep an eye on my car and my dog. I ordered my food and was waiting when I saw a few employees gathered together by the door, staring at my car. I got up and approached them and they asked me if that was my vehicle with the dog inside. I replied yes and they threatened to call the cops on me if I did not remove my dog from the vehicle. At that point, they then offered for me to sit on the patio, Which made no sense to me because when I first initially asked about the patio, they said it was not an option. They were extremely rude about the way they addressed the situation. If they would have sat me on the patio like I initially asked this wouldn’t have even been an issue, but due to them saying no this was the only option I had due to living about 40 minutes away from this location. The fact that I was threatened with getting the cops called on me because they could not accommodate to my situation was absolutely ridiculous. I then tried to call to talk to a general manager, and the host lied to me and said that she was a manager and refused to put anyone else on the phone. I will not be returning to this location ever again.

I went there on a Saturday around lunchtime. Walked in there was no hostess to see us and it said to wait. We waited for a couple minutes. There was also two other gentlemen there are waiting with us For separate parties. We finally decided to go to the bar. The bartender was not the friendliest. Almost was Annoyed that we were there. I don’t even think she cracked a smile once.
Fried pickles were not as crispy. And they need to add more seasoning. Wasn’t very impressed with the salad I got and the dough of the pizza reminds me of Pizza Hut. Very airy and there’s just a aftertaste that isn’t the greatest.

The service wasn’t necessarily bad, but the amount of servers for the people there is too low. They servers barely get an opportunity to come over to the table and are running around the whole time. Biggest thing is they could use more servers.

We usually love the salads be this time we felt like we got skimped us! For almost $40 for two salads that had barely any lettuce and chicken and little dressing and no croutons! Never again!

It is one of my top places to eat n drink! They have a huge selection of beers to choose from, yes, even those boring ones like bud/bud light/busch/busch light/miller lite. Food is pretty good too, I had the chicken parmesan.
