Dani literally made my night. I’m on my way out of town. And my friends brought me here for a final sending away. Dani was so nice and so kind. She was super engaging and made sure we all had the best time! I love neighborhood bars and I’m so disappointed that I only found out about this one in my last days in town after 10 years. This place isn’t an eye catcher but I would come back here ONLY for Dani she killed it!

Wow. Just wow. They had great bartenders, Alicia and Kate... they changed both for the weekend and I will NOT be back. The new older lady is so disrespectful. She's about 60 years old she shouldn't even be at a bar. Horrible service at this point. Picked up the 8 ball while we were playing pool. Do not go here while the old bartender is there before her this was the spot to go to. I'd invite 10-15 of my friends to have fun. Now you will not see me there.

Caveat that this is a "dive bar," and I'm a big fan of dive bars. This is not a polished chain-type bar.Review is as of December 2023.The Night Owl is much improved since new ownership took over in the 2022-2023 time frame.Food is provided via a food truck and is typical deep-fried bar food with a few twists. I thought it was fine but unremarkable, so I eat before I arrive, and only use the food truck in rare moments.There are 5 pool tables in moderate condition at $1 per play, although many nights, the tables are "free to play." It's usually easy to get on a table here when other local bars are too busy. The cues are pretty rough, so I'd bring your own cue if you care about that.AMI jukebox has plenty of 1 credit play options.Drinks are reasonably priced.Huge outdoor deck is great for getting fresh air, aka cigarette smoke.Crowd is primarily regulars, and I've gotten along well with all of them, including the interesting characters one finds at dive bars.Karaoke is currently Wednesday and Saturday nights, but I typically go Wednesday if I'm going to, because Saturday is more crowded and more loud.Staff service is excellent on Weds - Sat, but I've seen some disgruntled staff behavior on Sun - Tues nights. The main bartender on those nights likes to keep things pretty quiet, so if boisterous fun is the goal, I now avoid those evenings. Of course, staff can change over time, so this may be soon outdated advice.Bathrooms are tolerable, but hopefully, the owner continues to incrementally upgrade them. They are already better than under the prior owner.Plenty of parking, but the lot is a bit rough and uneven, so keep that in mind if you have mobility challenges.

The bar is cute and the pool tables are fun. The bar tender was obviously very drunk when we went there and the drinks were pretty awful. But she was nice and the atmosphere overall was satisfactory.We stopped in after going to Anderson Farms on 10/22/23.
