So good!!!!! The beef pho special was amazing, so flavorful and authentic. The other phos are great too. All their food is delicious. The chef is very kind. The only thing we noticed is the vegetarian pho could use a little more flavor and love in the broth.

It's not gourmet but after a day on the trails or fishing, this pizza just hits the spot. Tastes good, service is friendly. It has a mom and pop feel to it. I come to the area once a year and this has become part of the tradition. Again, not gourmet but it's comfort food pizza.

We were out fall leave looking. We wanted pizza. We were in Basalt, but weren't quit ready to eat so I made a call to Elkhorn. I called to specifically ask if they used fresh jalapenos and fresh minced garlic. I was assured that they used fresh jalapenos and fresh minced garlic. Very disappointed when we got it home and the jalapenos were pickled. Also very small amount of toppings. The pepperoni looked like what you would get on a frozen pizza, 30 years ago. The cheese bread was very good. Very garlicky. We got that to eat at the restaurant and got the pizza to go. unfortunately the marinara that came with it came right out of the fridge. Really wanted a go to pizza place in Buena Vista. Unfortunately, Elkhorn is not it. There were tons of flies in there too. Place was not very clean at all.

Absolutely delicious! It is in a pizza place. Had the Pho Ga (chicken). Met the owner (and lead pho chef I assume) and she is incredibly sweet, warm and efficient. Will definitely be sending friends there and returning myself. Thank you for the delicious bowl of Pho Ga!Vegetarian options: There is a vegan pho!

Walked in and walked right out. Sorry we didn’t try the food. Even if a building is run down but you walk in and smell the cleanliness it would otherwise be worth a try. This was not that place. Smelled of trash outside and the inside was pretty bad. No one greeted us so we just didn’t feel compelled to stay.
I wish they would focus more on the people who came in first But the food is amazing

The Elkhorn Pizzeria has homemade authentic Thai food Sunday -ThursdayWe love love love the made by hand crispy spring rolls served with lettuce for wrapping, pickled veg and sweet dipping sauce. The Bhan Mi is good as well.

Used to be a great place to get a pizza. We've been to Elkhorn twice on this trip to Buena Vista and both times a big disappointment. The first time we called in the order for take out, aside from being on hold for a while, our pizza and breadsticks were both burnt and despite showing up in 30m as noted on the phone, it was cold. On our second visit, we stopped in for takeout. A simple meatball sub took almost a half hour to receive. "Something happened" to the first one they made and someone else ate it. Strange since we were the only customers in the place. The overall appearance was messy, there were tables with food left on them, napkins and other waste all over the floor in the dining area and in the food prep area in the back. One of the employees swept behind the counter and just left the pile in front of the entry way. Someone else used a broom to push the pizza boxes back on a shelf, putting the bottom of the broom right over the food prep area. Needless to say, we won't be back.
