I recently visited House Rock Kitchen and had a delightful experience. I ordered the Southwest Salad with the vegetarian patty, and it was not only well-proportioned but also satisfying and delicious.

Meh. This place makes the worst rice on the West. The food was bland and some items were overcooked. Beef brisket was sour and more boiled than stewed. I would rather prefer a smaller plate of food that actually has some taste.Both tables that we tried to occupy were dirty. The restroom was disgusting.

We visit Buena Vista regularly but it was our first time to House Rock Kitchen - we're definitely coming back!Everything we had was excellent, with large portions and great presentation. I was famished so I got the chips and guac on the side -- it could have been a meal by itself! I had the pulled pork burrito (fantastic -- I especially like how the tortilla was toasted like a panini) and my wife had a salad which was also massive.I also appreciated the low key atmosphere. I can't wait to come back to have a drink.
While in Buena Vista today our family of 7 decided to check this place out for lunch. Everything we ordered was absolutely amazing. The service was great and the staff was very attentive to our needs. We will take our guests here every chance we get. The food was not fast food junk, but the chef made and very tasty. We loved it!
