Great bar with a high quality beer and (extensive!) whiskey selection, set in a former jail house. Dog friendly with indoor and outdoor seating. Friendly and knowledgeable bartender. Beers were great.
The Slammer was fantastic! The inside is small, but there's two spacious outdoor areas that have fire pits for chilly nights. One of the outdoor areas is next to a small children's play area. The Slammer itself is themed like a jailhouse. It has two working pinball machines that you can play in a jail cell. It was cute. The menu is fairly simple. Mostly ciders, beers, and IPAs. The vibe and overall atmosphere is upbeat, but relaxed. This is by far my favorite bar in BV - hands down. Highly recommended.
