I ended up in the area for work and asked a local for a lunch recommendation. This restaurant is more Tex-Mex than an authentic Mexican restaurant. Come in with the right expectations and it isn't that bad. Unfortunately, I came in expecting it to be more authentic. It wasn't busy, even for a Tuesday lunch hour. We came in and it was seat yourself, the table we chose near the bar because the other section had a very loud party. The waitress came after sometime and was going to serve the chips and salsa, yet we had to ask her to clean the table because it was clearly dirty. We then ordered our food. We asked for a taco for my daughter and 2 for myself with only cheese and meat, when it came out it had lettuce and tomatoes and the waitress realized that and took it back. We love the food here and the service has always been great! The salsa is not hot but upon request they will add ingredients to make it a little more spicy! The owners daughter treats us very good Everytime and never have had a bad server yet! We ride our Harley from Pueblo to Canon and this is our guranteed place to stop, great food and wind therapy what more can a person ask for!!
