“This is a local favorite. We found it by accident. There's no indoor seating, only picnic tables outside. The parking lot is dirt and dusty gravel. All order are packaged for takeout. BUT... this place has the BEST burgers in town. And to say they're HUGE burgers would be an understatement. The big burger is half a pound and comes fully dressed. The curly fries are prepared perfectly. And just when you think it can't get any better, there's the ICE CREAM.”

“We found this little gem.of a burger joint while walking in Cannon City.
The place was packed, we found a seat. The waitress promptly grated us and said she would be right back. The place was hoping.
She came back surprisingly quickly, took our order.
The staff have it going on here.

We gout our burgers and fries within 20 minutes. WOW for service.
The burgers are awesome , the fries are large and not.over salted.

“I have only ordered twice in three last 3 months but oh man that orange chicken as Panda express running for thier money. Jade Cafe would round out the top 3 but, besides Jade Cafe in florence this place puts the other 2 to in Canon city... well they need to do better. Idk about the atmosphere but, if their place is as good as thier food I'm giving another 5 stars all around. Hats off to the cooks! Oh and that Almond Cookie just mmmm mmm good as well.”

“My favorite place to eat! My grandsons love to go here with me, it's their favorite place too! Everyone is always so friendly and the food is so outstanding you'll want it every day! Great selection and different size portions which is always good for leftovers the next day. They have a great area to reserve for parties and never disappoint! You just can't go wrong with this great Italian restaurant!”

“My wife and I enjoyed the VIP Wine Tasting this weekend to celebrate Father's Day. Quaint location next to Holy Cross Abbey and tucked away in Canon City. We were treated to a wonderful charcuterie board and 17 different wines. Our host was knowledgeable and yet allowed us space to enjoy the wine and quiet.”

“My mom and I went here a few years ago and stumbled across Nirvana Culinary Paradise, a lovely restaurant serving Indian cuisine located in the heart of Cañon City, Colorado. The food here is absolutely amazing and even that’s an understatement. After taking my first spoonful of savory curry consisting of a variety of exquisite flavors, I instantly felt a wave of relief wash over me. For the first time in my life, I felt alive. I wasn’t simply existing at this point, but I was experiencing happiness in its truest form. Imagine being abandoned by your tour group in the wilderness all because you left a trail of snacks behind the group to almost get mauled by a very hungry grizzly bear. Now you’re lost, afraid, and the coldest you’ve ever been. The next few days, you see the first car since the tour group left you in the boonies to die. A sweet, elderly woman with grandma vibes rolls down her window and offers you a lift. You are alone and have no other options or place to go, so you accept her offer. She brings you to her quaint, peaceful home and wraps you up in a cozy plush blanket. You feel warmth not only on your skin, but in your heart. You feel safe. You feel comfort. You feel unconditional love. That’s the same feeling you will get from Nirvana Culinary Paradise.”

“I was so tired of crappy La Quinta med roast coffee when we walked into this place. The barista made a strong dark iced latte that hit the spot. My sidekick had a mango smoothie that was enjoyable as well. Got a great tip to try Skyline Drive. Intense, but glad we did it.”

Because anyone who knows, knows the Mexican food in Tucson and points south of there, is the best in the country. Hands down. This place is as authentic as it gets outside the old pueblo!! Beginning with Rae's greeting and attention to detail both for our order and comfort. She checked on us at perfect intervals and brought Cynthia, the chef, to meet us when we complimented our meals, from presentation to flavor. Cynthia told us a little about how she and the small crew which included Joe, turn out "miracles" on their small grill housed in the kitchen. In addition, we each took half of our breakfast sandwich and southwest wrap home for later! We'll be back for thirds and more!”
