Thank you to Bernie's Place for firing up the grill after 9pm! We prefer local, non-chain food. The burgers and fries were amazing and the bartender was so incredibly courteous, accommodating, and cooked a GREAT burger! We'd been traveling all day and after 2 places in town didn't have their grill still fired up, Bernie's Place gave us great carryout and a quiet spot to take a break.
This is a really cool place to stop for a bite to eat and a drink. The location is great! The bartenders are friendly, helpful and fun! Don't pass this stop up if you are in Canon City!

Burgers and drinks were tasty. The bartender was friendly. Nice little hole in the wall type of place. Clearly a favorite of the locals.Parking: We got trapped in by a truck,and when we told the bartender, she knew immediately who to call out too, and had them move. LOL.
