“Love the outdoor seating. Food is amazing. I tried the large once but couldn't finish it so now I get the small and am pleasantly full. Onion rings were crispy instead of soggy like many other places. Overall great place. When you get a bacon cheeseburger prepare for lots of bacon.“

“I have only ordered twice in three last 3 months but oh man that orange chicken as Panda express running for thier money. Jade Cafe would round out the top 3 but, besides Jade Cafe in florence this place puts the other 2 to in Canon city... well they need to do better. Idk about the atmosphere but, if their place is as good as thier food I'm giving another 5 stars all around. Hats off to the cooks! Oh and that Almond Cookie just mmmm mmm good as well.“

“Hands down the best burgers in Fremont County. There’s something about the way they grill them at The Owl that just beats everything else. I love the old-school counter service and the history of the building. It’s the perfect spot for a quick, delicious lunch. If you haven't been here yet, you’re missing out on a local treasure!“

“First time visiting. We arrived 30 minutes early and they took our order anyway. We ordered to go. Waiting area was clean. Entrees and soups were packaged well in individual plastic bags. We have an hour drive home and food was still hot when we got home. Entree portions were very generous, and not just the rice. Plastic utensils, napkins, sauces and fortune cookies all included in the bag. Price point aligned with quantity and quality of food received. Will definitely return. Great job China Garden.“

“The service was excellent and food was even better. Everything tasted fresh, the food came out hot. I would consider this place to be better than any other Mexican restaurant within 50 miles. I will choose to come here again because of the atmosphere and the quality of our experience. Good restaurants still exist if you continue to look for them. This place is a genuine hidden gem. “I have a real problem with this place!!!
I can’t decide what to eat! I love their steak street tacos, so my last few visits I always order that. Why change something that’s so good? But this last time I tried their enchiladas a la crema.. amazingly tasty! Great food, great service and great atmosphere! As Arnold once said…. ‘I’ll be back!’“
