“Happened here for a late lunch after hiking all morning and was so impressed! Battered mushrooms were delicious! Terrific flavor to the light tempura-like batter and yummy dipping sauce. Spicy blue burger was amazing cooked perfectly and with an amazing crust on it. Tons of blue cheese and FRANKS hot sauce! Only the best hot sauce. Lol! Friendly service, great food. Will be back next time we are out that way for sure!“

Despite having tried eggs Benedict at various restaurants across different states, The Pantry unquestionably reigns supreme. My husband and I were only able to dine there twice, which left us longing for more, especially considering how far away we live. “We have lived near woodland for a couple years- and coming from st louis area where Chinese is AMAZING- we had tried a couple of the restaurants in woodland and just never went back bc it was so disappointing...I think we passed on fortune because the building looked as if it may fall down- lol- we really were craving some good Chinese so we said - the heck with it and gave it a try- now we are addicted!!! The ladies in the front of house are great- the food is excellent- some of the best egg rolls hands down- the decor....well I don't care about that- I care about the food- it's fantastic!“

The portions are just the right size, and the prices are lower than most other non-fastfood restaurants.I was particularly pleased that the dishes were made sweet as I've seen so many Chinese restaurants moving to.We had lunch specials that included soup, a Rangoon, and egg roll. “Love BierWerks and we're regulars there. Everyone's friendly and, if you're visiting, feel free to talk to people. It's a kids- and dog-friendly place. We've met several of our friends while drinking a beer, there, and watched families grow. They no longer brew beer here (altho we keep hoping) but they have 7 to 9 beers on tap of all different types--IPAs, ambers, lagers, etc; you can always find one you like. They serve bratwurst (that are really good), pretzel sticks and trays with cheeses and crackers or hummus, olives and crackers. In nice weather there are tables out front and seats on the roof. For the shoulder seasons, there's also a fire pit out front.“
