About Fortune Dragon

Fortune Dragon is a Chinese restaurant located near woodland that offers a cozy and welcoming dining experience. The building may look older, but the interior is kept clean and inviting. The small restaurant has only about four tables, creating an intimate atmosphere.

The menu features a variety of dishes made with fresh ingredients. Popular choices include the General Tao's chicken, Szechuan beef, and orange chicken, all hand-battered to order. The vegetables are fresh and cooked just right, while the fried noodles and rice are flavorful and filling. The egg rolls are crispy and not greasy, making them a favorite among customers.

Both the hot and sour soup and wonton soup come highly recommended for starting your meal. The portions are generous, so diners often leave full and satisfied. Jasmine tea is available and pairs well with the food. Customers notice that the fried rice contains large, tender pieces of chicken, though peas and carrots can sometimes be tough and freezer-burned. The veggie egg fu yung is light and fluffy, covered with large strips of perfectly cooked vegetables in a nice brown sauce. The Szechuan chicken is spicy and flavorful, with plenty of broccoli and carrots.

While most dishes are excellent, some reviews mention that the hot and sour soup can be overly seasoned with black pepper, affecting the taste. In such cases, the owner is kind and willing to replace it with fresh hot spring rolls. Overall, Fortune Dragon is praised for its delicious food, fresh ingredients, and friendly staff, making it a hidden gem worth visiting even if it may not look fancy from the outside. Many customers look forward to returning for favorites like the Singapore Mai Fun Noodles.

Very good food, big quantity, good price. Not a fancy location. Must enter from Hwy 24 for now as the side street entrance / parking lot is blocked for repairs.
I count calories and found this place using an app that scans my plate. This stir fry fit my daily limit and had good protein. The portion was normal and included lots of baby corn. Service was fast and the seating was quiet.
The Wonton Soup was the best I have ever had. The broth was so flavorful, all my family agreed! You can tell they use fresh ingredients and everything was excellent. I also had the garlic chicken combo which is pictured below. Very reasonable prices too, appreciate that! Thanks for a great lunch.
