I hesitate to post about this place because the food is really good and I don't want to have to wait for a table in the future if this place becomes really popular. The chef is top notch for a small town like Canyon City. The service is excellent as well. It is however not the cleanest but what Chinese restaurant ever is. If you like savory foods then the egg foo young is the way to go. If you like sweet Foods then try the Sesame beef with white rice. Also the ribs are delectable....
Service was good and restaurant was clean and comfortable. Hot & Sour soup had very little heat to it. Wonton crisp strips were ok. Servings were large for lunch plates. Chicken with vegetables had very little flavor and was mostly broccoli. Generals chicken was not spicy at all. You can see the sweet and sour sauce is also used as sauce on the chicken. Egg rolls were ok, a little greasy. The food was just ok.
A new favorite of mine lunch or dinner.. My Dude really likes red meat but sometimes I talk him into China Garden in Canon City Colorado and he really doesn't mind.. I try to try something new every time.. I believe it's the owner who always waits on us.. He thinks I'm funny and we have a great time..
