Oh my gosh!, I could spend $20,000 in there on all of their homemade jams jellies, pickles and other mouth-watering delight full foods in jars that they make at their own farm... These folks owned this store in orchard's for generations!!! ???
We stopped here on a whim while driving through Canon City. It doesn’t look like much from the outside, but inside is an abundance of very interesting kitchen wares and homey bottled fruits, pickled vegetables, and local honey. They also sell a good variety of Colorado-grown dry beans. If your looking for pizzella makers or Scandinavian waffle makers, this is the place for you. They also have a good selection of manual meat grinders , pasta makers, ravioli makers, rosette makers...
Have been to this store many times with my family in the 1980s and first half of 1990s. Visiting now was akin to time traveling for me, for although the aisles are rearranged and some of the merch has changed, the kindness of the staff and the variety of cider flavors along with locally produced foods hasn't. I really appreciated the time spent talking with Heidi and getting to meet Mr. Di Nardo during my visit. This store is such a treasure in the Cañon City community.
