Average food at about twice the cost that it should be. The train cars are cool, but the prices are crazy.

I’m a traveling musician for my living and stop at many roadside cafes in my travels. The Happy Endings Cafe is a total Gem!! If I could give more than 5 stars I would. The atmosphere and setting are awesome and the service with a smile from the employees and Lindsay the manager could not have been more welcoming! As a bonus the food was delicious and very tasty coffee is always a perk! If you are looking for a place with all the right vibes this is it!

No Decaf coffee is available here. Otherwise was a nice place.
AWESOME LITTLE PLACE. We rode the Phantom Canyon Scenic Drive from Cripple Creek to Canyon City. It was the most awesome drive and sites ever.
The Caboose restaurant was awesome. What a great setting and so charming and cute. Food was ok, just happy with the surroundings.

We only got drinks but they were great! The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was very unique and quaint. Seating is sent up for visiting with your party. Really great experience before our train ride.

ripoff of a place. true tourist trap. burgers were extremely overpriced and overcooked. i should have used them as shoes to come close to getting my $ worth.

The people working were EXTREMELY nice and definitely underpaid considering how much they charge for this food, which was passable but unfortunately this is a certified millennial burger restaurant for which #DovahkiinRainstar has a ZERO TOLERANCE for considering it is probably owned by a VC firm that takes 90% of the profits which should go to the workers XD

Yesterday 8/16/25 at 11:19 we had our first and last experience here. $40 for 2 drinks and a sandwich? And waited almost 30 minutes for our sandwich, which was more like 2 pieces of bread, lettuce, tomato, and bacon. But where was the flavor? The sauce? A little mayo would work. After waiting 20 minutes, my wife went inside to check on the food, not done. Then after waiting another 10 minutes I went inside and told them we wanted it to go. We already finished our coffee drinks by the time the food was done. Cool caboose car setting but not worth the time or money.

Awesome experience to eat in a caboose. It’s a little tricky to find but well worth it.

Had a fantastic breakfast burrito. Plenty to split between two people and both felt satisfied. Coffee was delish as well.

Food was awful, and it was $32 for both crepes. Me and my fiance got two crepes they were both overcooked crispy top and barely had any fillings. Nothing like the old pictures that they post very false advertising. And the service sucked because there was a girl who ran into me and didn't even say sorry. Atmosphere, very horrible, because seats are only outside. Biggest tourist trap ever.
