Salsa was really good! It tasted fresher than most places. They do not have queso (maybe that’s just a southern thing)? Service was not very attentive and main course was just okay. Not terrible, not great.

You can always tell when you are in a great Mexican restuarant when the rice and beans are amazing. I had the house burrtio with asado, but all 5 of us had great meals. Wish I could take the place with me!

Food, service and pricing was excellent! I had chicken carnitas and my husband got pork street tacos with homemade corn tortillas. We ate ALL of our chips and salsa, got another bowl of salsa for our dinners. The only drawback was no queso but other than that, I definitely recommend them. Happy dining!

Place feels a little unclean but the food is good! Wish the menudo had more meat than fat but other than that the meals are pretty good and I do not get sick. Staff are always friendly.

Best mole sauce I’ve had west of Kansas City!! I had it on the chicken enchilada and I was finished before my husband. That’s never happened before. Iced mugs for the beer too. Very friendly and fast service. We will definitely be returning here.

My wife and I ate at Los Compas Mexican Restaurant during a recent Colorado vacation. We were seated by our waitress, Zoey. Since it was our first time dining there we asked Zoey for recommendations. Her suggestions were spot on. I had the beef carnitas and my wife had the bacon wrapped shrimp. We both enjoyed their $6 house margaritas. For dessert we shared a sopapia.

If you are ever in Canon City and craving authentic Tex-Mex style mexican food I highly recommend this place.
