I placed an order and had to cancel shortly after due to a change in plans. Not only did they refuse to acknowledge the cancellation, but they had the audacity to charge me anyway — for food I never received. Zero accountability, no apology, no refund. Just radio silence and arrogance.
Even if I had received the food, judging by other reviews and the attitude of the staff, I can only imagine it would’ve been as bad as the service — careless, cold, and clearly not customer-focused.
Places like this give the restaurant industry a bad name. Save your money, your time, and your appetite — go anywhere else but Nirvana.

I don’t know much about Indian food, but the food here was so good! It smelled amazing and tasted even better. I had the chana masala and it was very filling and tasty. My friends had chicken korma and chicken saag, both of which I tried and were also very good. The sauce for the dumplings could be bottled, it was that delicious. The space is very nice—modern but peaceful, and not echoey and loud like most modern spaces. The owners were very nice. Definitely recommend!

We were looking for some Halal food while visiting the Royal Gorge Bridge and came across this restaurant. The only items that are Halal on their menu are the items made of boneless lamb. We tried their lamb khorma, gobi manchurian, lamb biryani, Garlic naan, and mango lassi. We enjoyed their lamb khorma. The restaurant vibes were also pretty good and the food and the quantities were also good.
One of my favorite spots, the food here cannot be beat. I’ve come back many times and have never eaten anything that wasn’t absolutely delicious. Anything you eat here will be so flavorful, cooked to perfection and paired with garlic naan and their amazing rice. You’ll be in actual paradise. I live in COS and have driven here for the food many times. I’m a big fan!

We had lunch today (August 30, 2025) at Nirvana Culinary in Cañon City with a group of nine people. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing.
When we entered, we told the staff our group size, but it still took nearly 15 minutes just to get a table, even though the restaurant wasn’t very busy. After ordering, we wanted to add a few more items, but when we called the server, he was dismissive and said he was “busy.” His tone was rude throughout, and when we questioned the poor service while paying the bill, he responded that he had “seen thousands of people like us” and “this is all they can do.”
I even asked to speak to the manager, but he said he was the owner. That made the situation even more disappointing, as you would expect an owner to value their customers.

On Aug 30, 2025, between 3:00 PM and 4:20 PM, we group of 9 members had a dine-in experience where we ordered multiple items. The person who introduced himself as the owner, Rupal, displayed extremely poor behavior and customer service. Even after repeatedly calling him to place additional orders, he openly stated that filling ice in his ice machine was a more important task than attending to customers who were already dining.
When questioned, he arrogantly justified this by saying that according to his “policies and T&Cs,” customers must place their entire order at once and are not allowed to order in portions. Such a policy was never communicated beforehand, and his dismissive attitude was shocking. Instead of listening to our concern, he rudely remarked that he had seen “many customers like us” and simply brushed it aside.
To make matters worse, while we were trying to explain our dissatisfaction, he kept shaking his ears and cleaning them as if our words were trash, which was extremely insulting and unprofessional.
This level of arrogance and disrespect is completely unacceptable in the service industry. I repeat: never visit this restaurant unless you want to be treated with the same disdain we experienced from the so-called owner Rupal.

We had a dine-in on Aug-30-2025 where we ordered a lot of items and Rupal who himself claimed as owner has a very bad attitude that even after calling for a few times to place some more items mentions that filling the ice in his ice-machine is much more important task to him than the customers who are having their food. When asked about the same he gave the reason that we were ordering food in portions and according to his policies and T&Cs every customer visiting this restaurant musta and should place an order all at once and nothing in portions. Also when expressing the same concern, he was so arrogant that he simply gave a reason that he had seen a lot of customers like us. I repeat never ever visit this restaurant and get the same treatment as us from the so called Owner alias worker Rupal.

Exactly what we needed!!! While traveling through town on vacation with my whole family of picky eaters, our white water rafting instructor told us to check this place out. Boy, oh boy did it not disappoint!!!! Everything hit the spot and got us fueled up for the rest of our adventure. Highly recommend the butter chicken and Chili chicken!
