Food was very good quality, however the price was a little steep for the amount. Was charged an extra $2.60 for extra salsa which I thought was ridiculous since it's such a small amount. Overall pretty good but may not return due to the price.

Atmosphere is really cute. The employees are all very friendly and offer great service. We stopped by on a Friday and it was after the lunch crowd so we were served quickly. Portion sizes are good and match up well with the prices. The food is good and fresh. Everything seems to have a bit of a peppery taste to it. Not chile pepper, but black pepper. Beans and rice are good.

We went to Ortega's after a soak at Dessert Reef, and in all honesty we were driving to another restaurant, but when my wife saw the number of cars and how busy this place looked we decided to give it a chance and we are very glad we did. I had the soup of the day (Cream of Poblano) and a patty melt. Both were well cooked and tasty. The soup was something I'd never had before and it is definitely something I'll be thinking about.
