AMAZING service! The gentleman that took our order was upbeat, professional, helpful and so nice. The food is also super delicious. Everytime we come to Carbondale we will eat here! Excellent!

Best bagels I’ve found outside of New York!!! They’re absolutely amazing - I’m a loyal customer of Plotsyks and always get a toasted bagel with vegan cream cheese. So yummy!

Matcha latte was horrible, there’s less than 2/10 in a 16oz cup. Matcha to milk ratio is way off. If you’re gonna put matcha on the menu at least make it right.

Pastrami is amazing! I wish they would sell it by the pound. Also can't go wrong with the egg salad. Have tried the takeaway frozen enchiladas, and thought they were good enough to try more of the options

We literally just left and it was the most disappointing experience my husband and I have ever had here. The front-facing staff were very nice (as always), however I could audibly hear the chef complaining about my order with very simple modifications (cut in half, wrapped separately because I was sharing the sandwich with my mother who is visiting town). The manager or owner was conversing with the chef about his complaining stating that modifications have to be made. The sandwich came out wrapped as a whole, and the other modifications weren't done to the sandwich. If you're expecting people to pay about $20 dollars per sandwich, you'd expect to have your modifications delivered how you ordered your sandwich. My husband come in often, and we were really excited to show here. Nonetheless, this was a very disappointing experience, especially when we tip 20%+ on takeout. This visit left a very bad taste about the kitchen operations. I would have rather discuss it in person, but since we need to go home and re-make our sandwiches, we left in a hurry.

Ordered Hey Mambo, basically an Italian w Mortedello as main meat. Fantastic! Peppers added a mild spice and I'm a wimp w hot stuff. Lots of veg and meat and sauce made for a great lunch. I ordered online with no issues around 1:30 pm.

It took them over 10 minutes to toast a piece of bread for takeout with a soup. I would’ve toasted it myself if it were going to take that long and it was hardly toasted. When I asked about the delay they said “maybe next time”
The bagels aren’t fresh either.

Update: regarding the owner’s response - my dog was outside when I asked the barista about the delay fyi. I don’t know what that has to do with toasting a slice of bread to go.

Dave is amazing! This is the best sandwich shop in town and the staff are so friendly! You have to try the Ruben sandwich on toasted bread. It’s a great sandwich! Please tie your pets up outside though because it’s a busy spot! Enjoy

Very nice staff. Me and my girlfriend tried polsky's for the first time .We had 2 hot sandwiches ,shared 1side .They also have a nice unique drink section non and alcoholic. Both sandwiches (hot pastrami on rye / Greek sneak) were outstanding and the side of pasta salad was also delicious . We will definitely be back .
