Plosky's Deli

It took them over 10 minutes to toast a piece of bread for takeout with a soup. I would’ve toasted it myself if it were going to take that long and it was hardly toasted. When I asked about the delay they said “maybe next time”
The bagels aren’t fresh either.

Update: regarding the owner’s response - my dog was outside when I asked the barista about the delay fyi. I don’t know what that has to do with toasting a slice of bread to go.

I've only been there twice. I had the mambo italian sub. The pastrami sandwich and matzo ball soup. 👍👍👍. It gonna hard to not stop there when I'm dv. Great job, great service and food. Thanks.

Everything is à la cart so watch it when you order your sandwich or whatever and want chips or a drink or something else he gets to be pretty pricey after that.

When I decided that I was going to be moving to Carbondale and the Central Rockies from the culinary Mecca of Northern California, I definitely wasn't expecting a Jewish deli in my new city, and certainly not one steps away from my home. So you can imagine my pleasant surprise when I saw one through the window of my U-Haul two days ago upon my arrival. Why it took me two days to get here is a question I'll continue to ask myself because Plosky's delivers and more! From the friendly staff to the comfy atmosphere to the AMAZING culinary treats, I can safely say I've never had a deli quite like this anywhere I've lived, let alone in the middle of the mountains. While I haven't tried their bagels yet, they look awesome in the display case and I'm sure I'll be taking a half dozen home with me next time. Whether you're a local like me or dropping by on your way to Aspen/Snowmass, you're doing yourself a disservice if you don't stop by Plosky's for a bite to eat. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!

Excellent breakfast and lunch options with awesome grab and go for take and bake dinners!

Delicious food. Authentic deli feel. Friendly staff. A little expensive but not out of par for the area and what their costs might be to get the level of freshness they serve.

Great bagels, great sandwiches. Kid friendly and dog friendly atmosphere. Great experience all around. Indoor and outdoor seating. They even have Egg bagels which are very hard to find around here!

The best! My husband and I have always been a fan of Plosky's since it has opened. We used them twice to cater during our Wedding weekend - for getting ready and then also our Post Wedding Brunch that we set up at Marble Distillery. Great bagels, great spreads, great coffee -all of it! Thank you!

To start off, best pickle spear I've ever eaten: crisp, perfect flavour balance! I inquired about where they were from, and learned they are made in-house. No wonder so amazing!

Great section of sandwiches, beverages, bakery, and coffee drinks! Spanking clean operation & friendly staff. I enjoyed hot pastrami sandwich on rye, which included some unexpected and delicious "add-ins" to result in a memorable lunch treat. Outdoor patio was awesome on this summer day.

I don’t know why I’m just writing this now as Ploskys is essentially my second home. I love them and everything they do! I have a pretty strict diet and there’s always something I can eat that’s delicious. They’re super friendly, accommodating, always speedy and just all-around running a great biz. Plus the place is always immaculately clean and welcoming.

Plosky’s Deli did an outstanding job catering several events over our daughter’s wedding weekend!
They provided “getting ready” lunch for the bridal party that were perfect! Lots of food to start off the long day! Sandwiches, chips, salads, cookies, beverages and all the service ware needed.
They also catered our Sunday morning brunch at Marble Distillery. It was a lovely display of bagels, salads, smoked salmon, latches and different spreads for 80 guests!
We highly recommend Plosky’s!
