Tiny Pines is quickly becoming our favorite restaurant in the valley! Their service is great and the ambiance is perfection. The steak frites dinner on Tuesdays is a must!

I didn't like the burger, it was very expensive for what it comes with, the meat was overcooked, the French fries were very greasy, the place is very small and the group that was there was very noisy. The only thing that saved the experience was one of the appetizers and the attention of the girl at the bar who was very friendly, the rest of the people in the restaurant were not very friendly.

Tiny Pine is seriously wonderful. The restaurant itself is so cozy. Food is phenomenal (Hamachi Tartar and Crostini are a must-try). And, service was amazing. Our server, Peter, was so kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. A true Carbondale gem.

Alright Tiny Pine- damn you’ve won my heart!
Not sure why it’s taken me so long to come here for a proper meal but it was such a special experience. I don’t remember our servers name but he was super kind and on it! Spectacular service.
We ordered one of the specials- fish collar and it was one of the best fish dishes I’ve ever tasted. For my main entree I ordered the steak and potatoes and it was a very generous portion of heaven. The passion fruit margarita was spectacular and just my style. I feel so lucky to have this restaurant in the neighborhood, it’s truly a gem. Thank you guys for all your hard work and amazing food, drinks and atmosphere.

My wife and I went to the TPB recently and loved it.

Here's her experience: My husband and I went to Tiny Pine Bistro a month ago (sorry for not posting a review sooner). We are out-of-towners and came in solely because of the reviews. Not only were the reviews fun to read but spoke of how good the food is so we had to try it for ourselves. To say this was a great place is a huge understatement. I called to make a reservation and spoke with Leslie. She was so sweet, asked if we were celebrating anything special and at the end of our meal, we were given a sweet little card thanking us for spending our special occasion with them. Not many restaurants do things like that, it was a super sweet gesture.. The decor was on point, beautiful, and I would have stayed all night if I could have. I had some signature cocktails, and I was blown away at how damn good the drinks are. The bar tender knows what he's doing and has trained the bartenders well. My husband had the pasta and meatballs, and I had the butter burger. You know when you go to a friend's house, and they make you their favorite dishes and it's beyond amazing because they love to cook and take pride in their cooking? That's what it was like. It was an honor to be able to enjoy the amazing food we had by Chef Chuck and his fellow cooking staff. The food was INCREDIBLE, can't say it enough. We went back to the Tiki Bar after our dinner and had some mulled wine, a hot toddy, and the hard cider. As if we weren't blown away already by our experience inside, the Tiki Bar didn't disappoint. The drinks made you fall in love with fall. It was seasonal perfection. The bartender was so fun to talk to. We could tell he takes pride in his craft, cares about the atmosphere he creates, and believes in everything Tiny Pine stands for. That actually goes for all the staff we encountered at the Tiny Pine. They are absolutely wonderful people. We had the pleasure of meeting Chef Chuck and cannot convey enough to prospective customers; the man knows what he's doing. He put his heart into his food, and you'll have a great dinner and experience. Chef Chuck, keep doing what you're doing! Tiny Pine staff, thank you for a wonderful experience. We will ABSOLUTELY come back.

Here's mine: The Tiny Pine Bistro is a hidden gem in Carbondale. Converted from a house into a restaurant with rustic decor and a warm dining experience to the phenomenal food and drink menu, everything there is fantastic. The staff is warm, inviting and truly cares the each person enjoys their time there, whether it’s for a special occasion or a night out for amazing food drink.

My wife and I chose this restaurant for our anniversary dinner because the co-owner and head chef, Chuck responded to some of the low reviews in amusing ways, and we wanted an experience . However, those reviews that chastise the TPB and the food are dishonest, leave out important facts and are completely unfair. Chef Chuck is passionate about his craft and he creates his menu, working with local farms and ranchers to source the best food and ingredients. I learned that one of his menu entrees, the meatballs and pasta, he’s been making been making since he was a kid, from a family recipe. Each plate feels like gift.

Leslie, the other co-owner, is such a kind and caring person. She spent almost 15mins on the phone making friendly conversation with my wife when she called to get a table reservation. When we got to the TPB, she greeted and seated and continually checked on us throughout our visit to see how we were doing or if we needed anything. She even made us a nice little card thanking us for coming in and kind wishes on our anniversary.

These things are the special touches you won’t get at other restaurants and those grumpy people who had a “bad” experience have only themselves to point the finger at.

TL;DR
Go here! You won’t be disappoint

We don’t typically go to places with this high of $$$ but I have to say if you’re going to spurge this is a place to do it! Best meal I’ve had in a long time. Server was friendly and we enjoyed learning the details of how various dishes were prepared.
