My daughter is keen on Chai. Her pumpkin chai was thi-cc, and “too pumpiny”. Butter croissant was “chewy”. Breakfast burrito was “mid”. Red eye is my go to, it burned my tongue. I had three more children in the time it took to order. Nice people.

Love our Castle Rock Dazbog. The staff is wonderful, the coffee is great and the location is pretty unbeatable. Quick tip, the parking lot is free but be sure to validate! It’s super easy, there’s a QR Code, scan it, add your vehicle details and get the code from the barista when ordering. Also note, the website you go to when scanning the QR code never accepts your plate on the first try so you have to enter it twice. Not sure why their website is messed up but that’s how it’s always been.
A Disappointing Sip at Dazbog Cafe - matcha latte ⛔️ sugar water ✅
Dazbog Cafe, a cozy spot known for its coffeehouse charm, stumbled badly with its matcha latte during my recent visit.
The matcha latte was, frankly, a disaster. Far from the vibrant, earthy depth one expects from quality matcha, it tasted like little more than sugar water—cloyingly sweet, with no discernible matcha flavor to anchor it. The texture was thin, lacking the creamy froth that elevates a well-crafted latte. Worse, the price felt exorbitant for such a lackluster offering, leaving no aftertaste.
Other menu items weren’t sampled, but the matcha’s poor showing didn’t inspire confidence to explore further.
Service was polite.

So disappointing. This place used to be great. The staff is still very friendly and get your order right. But the situation with the parking that you have to scan with your phone and the website fails to go through half the time, and then you finally enter a validation code and hope that goes through. It just takes WAY too long, and you shouldn't have to deal with this mess. But you have to go through with the parking validation QR code routine, or you will get ticketed automatically via a camera that doesn't care whether you saw the QR code or whether you actually were a customer, or whether your validation code didn't go through on the website. And the coffee is over-roasted and burnt half the time these days. And there aren't enough tables, with one person taking up the bulk of an entire table with their stuff, so there's nowhere nice to sit. Today was the last time after probably close to one hundred visits over the course of just short of 20 years. It's just not worth it anymore, even for old time's sake. I won't be coming back.

waited way too long for heated up burritos, just for them to come out cold. didn’t offer and solution except to heat it up BACK in the oven that many other customers food goes in…… staff is too busy playing around to give customers adequate service. coffee was just okay.
