Dickey's Barbecue Pit

Although the food was good, I was overcharged after using an online coupon code for the BOGO 2 meat plate with 2 yellow cup drinks. I figured it was just a mistake and sent in an online inquiry to see about having it corrected. I did receive a confirmation that it was received but it’s been 2-3 months and I have had no response.

In that time, I have not purchased anything and have decided I will not do business with any Dickey’s BBQ going forward. I know I am just one person but all I can do is speak with my money.

It’s unfortunate that something small could have been resolved easily but was instead ignored.

OMG ? ??‍♂️ NEVER have I had and experience with Dickey’s like this.. I’m so disappointed ?. The one in North Carolina was 3000 percent better than here @Castle rock. The brisket was super dry, even the chopped brisket. The corn was bad, the turkey was bland like what happened Dickey’s? The service was great, but the food was terrible ?. The cabbage slaw was the best thing on my plate, now that I tasted these wings ?…….. ? disgusting, I’m pissed ?.

The baked potatoes are overly salty and the food tonight was ice cold. Will not be back as this is not our only bad experience at this location.

Boy, I was looking forward to some juicy, hot, tasty barbecue, but I sure messed up coming here. I ordered a brisket sandwich, and my wife ordered a full rack of ribs (mostly to take home). The ribs were actually cool to the touch, and looked a little underdone! I wanted hot, juicy ribs and got cold and plain, little flavor. What the hell, guys? The two boys working there acted like they hated their jobs (and lives in general). Of course they forgot the fries (which were the only thing that was hot), so I had to go up and ask for them, and of course he hadn't even made them, so we had to wait again. I don't know who the owner of this place is, but he or she needs to get off their a$$ and check in, as they will soon be going out of business.

My son and I both ordered the beef rib plate. We both received one rib that was fairly fresh and another rib that looked like it'd been sitting around for a week. The barbecued beans had a very peculiar taste kind of tinny, and the mashed potatoes tasted like they came right out of an instant envelope.
Definitely, will not be ordering from here again!

Ordered over $200 of meat for catering a week ahead of time. Called the day before, they couldn't find my order so had to redo it. Went to pick up the next day, silly me for not checking the bags to make sure the order was correct, but they left out 2 pounds of brisket while still charging me. Went back and they did make it right, and even gave me some extra chicken to make up for the mistake. However, my guests had to wait for food with no host while I made an extra trip during my party to pick up what they had forgotten (10 min from my house one way), and on top of that the meat was mediocre and dry.

Make sure you check your receipt. They will charge you for barbecue sauce without letting you know. Food is overpriced and getting scammed on barbecue sauce makes the whole meal not worth it.

Nate took good care of me when I visited this store. Nate was very neat and clean plus super professional. Nate deserves a Promotion and a Raise. And the other workers here can learn a lot from Nate. Great job Nate. Thanks Nate.

Had a terrible experience at first. Then I spoke with the GM Chris. He turned the whole incident from negative to positive. Tony the manager was equally amazing. The two employees I had an issue even appeared to be exactly the opposite of what I experienced previously.Thanks Chris & Tony for making it an experience that I was accustomed to like before.Robert H. The food here isn't bad, but it takes a lot of follow-up to get what you ordered. The first time I visited, I had a takeout order that I had to go back to the counter twice for them to fix. The second time I went shortly after they opened. I ordered a brisket sandwich and fries. The sandwich was perfect, but the fries were pretty much raw. I saw them drop them fresh in the fryer, but I guess they didn't leave them in long enough.I really want to like this place because the food is good, but I don't like having to check through my order each time to make sure I got what I paid for.

The big potato was so hard, we could not eat. It looked as if it had been two or three days old.. The beans were extremely runny and not a full container. The brisket and ribs were excellent. Such a disappointment because I live 15 miles from the location and could not go back. For a $50 fast food meal it should have been better.

I would say this is a door dash issue but it's not the door dasher did everything they were supposed to. No name from the shift lead accrued at 2:00pm was told that they can't do anything and then tells me to report I never received the food which is beyond that's not okay risk someone else losing their job because they couldn't make sure they did there's literally everything was incorrect besides the drinks that would be top of the cake if that was wrong poor judgement for business to have that shift lead with a I don't care attitude.

Second time ordering giant bakers, they can't seem to follow order instructions. Both times butter , cheese and sour cream were put on the potato when only chicken and green onions were ordered. They were left off for allergy reasons. Disappointed.

I love the BBQ brisket and pulled pork sandwich, so yummy. Service is fast too. I come here when I don't want to cook dinner or want a BBQ lunch.
