Visited June 13, 2020 with Sakari Hike and brew!🌈🌲🐾
The building is very cool, the bartender was super friendly and the beers were delicious. Tasted the ruffian noir - very interesting sour with dark chocolate cherry flavors, was quite tasty! Also had the Nuc and honey, one of the best Kolsch beers I’ve had. Dart boards galore and a great atmosphere makes me wish I lived closer!
Great beer and cozy atmosphere. Tasty food truck.
As a fan of bright, complex hops and balanced malts, I found the Westy to be one of the best West Coast IPAs I've ever tried. I tasted the Orange sour after trying several other beers and ordered a half pour. I never order sours, but having been in the industry for years I appreciate trying all styles when visiting a new brewery. The Brewers know what they are doing and do it well. The Dry Stout was surprisingly delicious to a person who usually doesn't like the big malty punch of dark beers. Give this brewery a try, you won't be disappointed! I've not heard great things over the years, and have avoided this place because of that. I hope to help shift the word on the street about The Iron Mule. I loved the building design and atmosphere, the taptender was great, friendly and very knowledgeable about the beer and business. Thanks for a great experience on Sunday evening!
Iron Mule Brewery in Castle Rock offers a variety of home brews and beers from other local breweries. Their home brews are superior and get 5*.
Great service. Excellent variety of beers. Cool venue. Glad to see a brewery serving stouts when it's cold outside.
Excellent brew pub at the base of the Castle Rock!
Some of the best beer around, with new styles and flavor profiles often on tap. Service is never lacking and the staff are amazing, beyond just their job duties. Dog friendly and they are spoiled by the crew as well. The Deviation is a classic in my eyes.
Fantastic brews and selection with a cozy family friendly (including furry famly) location that has great food trucks. The owners are friendly and knowledgeable I'm glad we have a great place to hang out now.
I’ve been a regular since this place opened. Granted, I’ve had some ups and downs personally with my ability to go, but everytime I go in, I feel like family. Whether the bar staff know me at the time or not. They’re friendly, knowledgeable, and it’s my favorite brewery in town. The brewery operations have had ups and downs, and that’s not just business, but that’s life. These guys will always have my support when I’m able to give it. Bill is an exceptional brewer, a great guy, and all of Iron Mule’s success is well earned. They’re resilient and they have a great variety. Give them your business. Trust me.

We enjoyed a couple tasty brews at Iron Mule after dinner up the street. We saw several people eating their take out at the brewery while watching the football game, varsity move that we’ll be doing next time!
Love this place. Favorite brewery spot in Castle Rock/Denver area. Amazing beer including amber and blueberry muffin wheat. Tobin is super cool. He is always willing to talk about brewing/beer history. Skal.
Friendly staff and great atmosphere. Plenty of beer and non-alcoholic options. Hours and prices are in line with most other small breweries in town. Good location in downtown Castle Rock.
Terrible hours. Was in the area on a Monday and I can't even stay the night or try them the next day..
Dog friendly brewery wonderfully nice woman working today. Drinks were decent and the food truck outside was AWESOME. We'd absolutely come back here. They have outdoor and indoor seating. They also have a couple TVs with sports playing on them.
