You know how they say there's a first for everything? This is the first time I've eaten a sub sandwich with a fork. The bread was so thin and soggy it couldn't support any of the contents. I ordered the buffalo chicken and it was swimming in watered down ranch. None of it had any flavor and it was pretty unenjoyable. With a ton of sub shop choices in Castle Rock, Port of Subs should be at the absolute bottom of your list.

First visit. I downloaded the app and received my $5 off the order and never received points for the order that was placed. The sourdough on my club was so hard that I couldn’t bite into it. The shredded lettuce was more yellow than green and tart, tomatoes were definitely from previous day. The gentleman at the register who was ringing us up seemed to have incredible difficulty understanding that we wanted 2 “combos” which, yes…includes 2 cups.

Tried this for the first time. Not bad, especially for their low review score. This place is similar to Subway. I’d say a little higher quality and bang for your buck than Subway. I would argue that Snarfs, Jimmy Johns and Jersey Mikes are all better sandwiches. With that said I was happy with my sandwich here and would choose it over subway if you want that style sub.

Downgrading this review's rating as the business clearly didn't READ to the bottom of my original review, and the link they provided for feedback doesn't work - I clicked it, copied & pasted into my browser- just goes to a blank webpage. I attached a screenshot of the blank 'feedback' page.
Original review: Basically a copy-cat of Subway right next to a Jimmy John's. I thought the meat and the cheese were better quality than Subway's - less processed, tasted more fresh. The meat at Subway often seems pressed together or reformed, but this seemed sliced. To my surprise, the man at the register popped my sandwich into a plastic bag. I had planned to eat inside the restaurant, so a takeaway bag was unnecessary. A gentleman at another table was also sitting there with a just-emptied plastic bag. Wasteful - plastic bags are supposed to be 5 cents in Colorado, plus you should only provide a bag if someone ASKS for one. They were quick and fast, friendly. Just automatons when it comes to unnecessary plastic waste. The bathroom was clean.

First time visit. I asked the sandwich maker what he recommended and he said the meatball sandwich. I’ve never had a meatball sandwich this full of meat and this tasty. The sandwich maker was very nice and helpful. I’ll be back.

“We are better than jersey mikes”
This was by far the worst sandwich I’ve had in years. I had to remove half of the bread to even finish, it was like shoe leather. The protein serving was on the light side of minimal. Bland and tasteless even with condiments and seasonings.
If you want a sandwich there’s one across the street JJ’s has never failed me like this.

Pulled in for a sandwich at JJ’s and thought, what the heck? Let’s try this new place. The guy that “greeted us” could not have cared less that we were there. He had zero personality and his sandwich making skills were abysmal. When we got home and un-bagged lunch, there were pickles and vegetables sticking out of the wrapping paper and the sandwich inside was a total mess! No care whatsoever was taken. Maybe I have been spoiled by JM’s and JJ’s, who go out of their way to welcome you and who take presentation very seriously. And, frankly, their food is much, much better! One and done.

We ordered from here for the 1st time last week! Now mind you it was an online order so I didn’t set my expectations high something was bound to be wrong! We picked up the order got home and were absolutely delighted that not only was everything right it was really good too!! We will definitely be ordering from here again! The price was right we didn’t break the bank like some of the other sub shops in town!

This sub was fantastic. Wife and I split the number 4. I will say I’m glad I kept asking for more squirts of mayo and mustard. May have been slightly dry without but I really liked it and the price is nice. I will eat here again.

So I don’t come often but last couple times I ordered a small or medium teriyaki chicken and it was killer.
This time I ordered large. The way they heat up the chicken and cheese are in a bowl. I wasn’t really watching.
So the guy making my sandwich brings two bowls over to put the contents on the sandwich. I was watching this. So he puts the contents of the first bowl FULL OF CHICKEN AND CHEESE on the bread and I was thinking to myself, “wow, they really put a lot of meat on” it was a ton. Then he puts the contents of the second bowl. FULL OF CHICKEN AND CHEESE! My mouth fell open and I was stunned how much. So stunned that another guy in the back came out and saw me and laughed and said, “ we always put a large portion of meat on all our sandwiches”.
You guys, the sandwiches here taste great anyway and are totally worth it. But WOW, we get a TON of meat on them too! What a great deal!!!
