Overcharged and Disappointed – Will Not Return
I recently visited this location and had a very disappointing experience. Not only did they try to overcharge me for my order, but they also automatically added a tip without mentioning it. I didn’t realize it at the time, and now I’m frustrated with myself for not catching it sooner. A tip shouldn’t have been added in the first place, especially for such poor service. I caught the overcharge, so I’m left wondering if they thought they’d make it up in another way?
To make matters worse, the service was incredibly slow. The workers were moving at a snail’s pace and didn’t seem to know what they were doing, which made the whole process even more frustrating. There were no other customers, so I really can’t understand why it took so long.
I won’t be returning to this location and would not recommend it to others.
If I could give negative stars I would. I ordered 3 subs all of them #15 titan turkey so should have double meat. These sandwiches literally came with one piece of meat!!! I called and talked to the manager and he said he would give me 50% off my next order. NO THANK YOU. Will not be coming here again and I will be disputing the charge with my bank.
Pros: Restaurant is very clean in general and looks nice. Good volume background music with some ads.
Cons: It seems the employees just don't enjoy their job, and that manifests in everything else. They seem totally uninterested and are hard to communicate with. In a DIY sandwich shop, that leads to some difficulty. I haven't seen anyone (myself included) be asked what type of bread they would like, for example.

The two gentlemen working this location tonight went above and beyond to make sure they could still complete our order and even provided free cookies without us even asking. They have some of the best customer service in Castle rock hands-down.
There was nobody inside Subway, I called out to see if anybody was there and then the individual finally came out of the bathroom and then headed toward the back behind the counter. Looks like he pretended to turn on the water to wash his hands. He was drying his hands on a paper towel, but it was just as dry as he pulled it off the rack. Don’t go here to eat. The inside. Looks dirty. They don’t honor any coupons go to Jimmy John’s or Jersey Mike’s or any other sub places out there in Castle Rock don’t come here avoid it like the plague. This is a very poorly ran establishment.

Rudest employee 4:00 pm ish Sunday, August 4. You simply cannot be rude to customers and expect to stay in business. Why is he not fired? Owner, pay attention. Hire some local teenagers who might hate the job but not the people coming in. Hiring your brother in law or cousin or whoever this dude is is a great way to run your business into the ground. Guess what? The teens at the Walmart Subway quickly make your sandwich without the condescending attitude, we will never go to this Subway again.

I just went into the store and asked if they were doing coupons for the sandwiches. The employee turned them around and looked at me and just pointed to the sign saying they are not participating in the coupons. I asked him why isn’t it a corporate situation and he looked at me and kind of smart and said we’re not doing this. I asked him if he was the owner and he said no, but that’s what it is here. That’s probably a good indication why that subway branch is completely empty with nobody there at 5:30 in the evening on a Sunday. Hopefully this place either gets retrained or goes out of business. I frequent at many subways but will never ever eat at this place. You can see from the previous Owner or new management stated please give us another chance so four years later I come by and this is the result. Sad to see what’s happening to the local restaurants.

Wow. The chick working here locks the women's restroom and made me use the men's!!! It was DISGUSTING, pee and missing tiles, toilet doesn't flush, broken tp dispenser..... Can only imagine what the kitchen looks like. Sad, I thought it was a newer facility.

Have we turned into a society where customer service and guest perception mean absolutely nothing? I walk in and the girl behind the counter looks up and doesn't even smile or acknowledge me. Then the guy, who is more cordial, says, "Hi Miss, how can I help you?" So I order and when I get over to the cashier that same girl is picking up afresh baked cookie and eating it right in front of me. Not with her back turned, not in the back area away from customers but right at the cash register. I just don't understand the new generation of employees and lack of care at work but expecting to be tipped. Blows my mind!
