We love the Union. The staff are delightful. The food is great. My new favorite Brie grilled cheese with chicken and fig jam!! So decadent and yummy.
Very bad experience... Salad wasn't brough out until the meal was served, and it was watery and under-dressed. Not very appetizing. First entree was lukewarm when served -- we ate it, but would have liked it to be hotter. Second entree was delayed -- they brought it to the wrong table and had to remake it. Second entree was under -- we asked for medium rare and got rare. It wasn't blue, but it wasn't much over that temperature. Lastly, and this isn't the restaurant's fault, but it still ruined our meal -- 3 groups in the dining room with noisy crying kids. Spent $120 including tip and left thinking that it will be a LONG TIME until I will be back to Union. So disappointing because this used to be our go-to spot in Castle Rock.

If you are not coming to this restaurant for brunch, you are NOT having brunch! We have been to their brunch twice and the first time, I thought, there is no way they can be this good with food consistently. I WAS WRONG! It was even more amazing the second time. The food was a sum of its parts, beautifully crafted, and downright delicious. The staff was amazing and so friendly. The atmosphere was incredible, but I go back to the food. It has been a long time since I continued to talk about a dish for days on end...and I did both times. It's a new service and it is AMAZING!!!!!!!

great experience My daughters wife suggested this place , as we were visting out of town . My husband and I . Service was excellent and even know we did not have a reservation. Manager was very accommodating and also the staff was knowledgeable about if u have a allergy to something , as my daughter has a food allergy . I had the mango chicken sandwich and it was excellent and husband had pulled pork . Love that it's local and has a quirky charm and not a chain type . and it seems the restaurant also cares about their BAH staff and FOH
Vegetarian options: the staff can adapt some things depending on dish to a certain point
Dietary restrictions: staff was accommodating and knowledgeable and was happy to asst if u have allergies and required a substitute or removal of item
Parking: handicap out front
Kid-friendliness: yes my grandson has austim and was very affectionate
Wheelchair accessibility: not sure on that as inside their was steps , as it looks like this was a house and it was night time .

Emily was amazing and took great care of our group. I loved my food and the drinks were great. The prices seemed a bit high but the sandwiches are worth it. We got the spicy bloody Mary and brie sandwich.

Great food, drinks and prices! Great service as well!
Every single time I go, I am nothing less than bl9wn away by the amazing menu. The chef here is top notch and has a way with blending flavors and food genres that I never would expect. It's hard to walk out without trying a bit of everything. I fight the urge all the time to NOT tell people about this restaurant because I don't want to have to wait to get in... but I don't think I can keep it to myself anymore. If you are looking for Michelin star type food in a more affordable setting... look no further. This will forever be the "special place" I take the people I REALLY like.

Four of us met up in Castle Rock for a bit of shopping, eating and catching up. We asked a couple of ladies on the street where we should go for lunch, and they suggested Union. Great advice! Abby served us and made us feel so welcome. We enjoyed adult beverages and devoured our lunches. Two of us ordered the steak salad with tenderoin. Superb! Another friend ordered the Chicken Caesar and the fourth chose the beef flatbread. We ate every bite! Later Abby brought us a large piece of carrot cake for sharing. I can't say enough about the great dining experience, service and atmosphere we enjoyed! We will return.

The mussels with sausage on saffron white wine broth was TO DIE FOR? And the fall spinach salad with pepitas, cranberries, and roasted butternut squash with maple vinaigrette was DEELISH. Service was friendly as always. Music was great even if a tiny bit loud for enjoying table conversation.

IMO, this is the best restaurant in Castle rock. I actually went here for the first time 17 years ago when I was on a business trip. I had no idea I would ever live in this town, but when we wound up moving here we went to union to celebrate. 18 years ago they stayed open late to feed A couple hungry guys. 18 years later, they helped my wife and I celebrate our big move and we’ve been going about once a week ever since. The food is a great value and well prepared. The staff is great. Happy hour menu is awesome. This is a wonderful locally owned restaurant.
