Been going to Los Dos Potrillos since they opened in 2002. Spectacular authentic food, fast service, and they know how to turn tables. If you love Mexican food, you gotta try this original location. I'm not sure why but it is better than the other locations.
Hands done the BEST experience, service and food we have had ever! Thank you for your commitment to excellence and to our amazing server Estela. We WILL be back the next time we are in Centennial, CO
Delicious homemade taco shells make these ground beef tacos amazing. The chicken enchilada was moist and not overly sauced. The servings are large so wear your stretchy pants!
Must be good. Just don't go Sunday through Wednesday evening unless you've got lots of time to spend standing around on the waiting list while mingling with the evangelical crowd.
Good food, nice staff, clean, friendly, amount of food for price was good.
Our son took us here for a bunch-like meal. Very good service, and friendly people. The food is very good.
Food overall was good. I wish the chips had some salt on them. Salsa was ok but other than being spicy it did not have much flavor. It needed more cilantro and onions for sure. The chicken chimichanga was really good (I substituted the salsa verde for queso) and the rice wasn’t bad. Beans needed seasoning and you can tell the guacamole wasn’t made fresh. Overall it was a decent meal.
Rude employees they used to be our favorite but the quality really went down in the food and the customer service

I needed to warm my bones on a snowy day, and the chicken mole did the trick! Good food and quick service, too.

CLOSED CHRISTMAS EVE. Drove there, but Wild Basil & Wild Bill's Ital7an are both open. How about updating Goolgle Maps for the holidays?
We ordered enchiladas and a beef chimichanga after about 45-50 minutes waiting as a pair (Friday night so perhaps not out of the ordinary?)
Our waiter was very curt, though friendly. Clearly had a lot to do and not much time to do it. This makes me think the owners either havent trained everyone full or theyre overworking staff. Im inclined to believe the latter.
The food when it arrived was a bit of a mess. I know some might just expect this for mexican food, but the idea that everything needs to be so overloaded with sauces and cheese just dilutes what should be the star flavours. The shredded beef in our chimichanga was a loose definition. Hardly shredded making the seasoning and cooking quite uneven.
The enchiladas were remarkably bland, but otherwise good. Well made, just perhaps overladen with cheese again.
Overall i was told that this was a top spot in denver, but I really dont see it. It makes me question the tongues of the writers and critics at 5280 and others who consistently rate this as a top spot.

There is a tiktok on my fyp showing the kitchen. Its ghastly. The grossest kitchen I have ever seen. I would love an explanation. Is that really the kitchen at this location?.
