CLOSED CHRISTMAS EVE. Drove there, but Wild Basil & Wild Bill's Ital7an are both open. How about updating Goolgle Maps for the holidays?

We ordered enchiladas and a beef chimichanga after about 45-50 minutes waiting as a pair (Friday night so perhaps not out of the ordinary?)
Our waiter was very curt, though friendly. Clearly had a lot to do and not much time to do it. This makes me think the owners either havent trained everyone full or theyre overworking staff. Im inclined to believe the latter.
The food when it arrived was a bit of a mess. I know some might just expect this for mexican food, but the idea that everything needs to be so overloaded with sauces and cheese just dilutes what should be the star flavours. The shredded beef in our chimichanga was a loose definition. Hardly shredded making the seasoning and cooking quite uneven.
The enchiladas were remarkably bland, but otherwise good. Well made, just perhaps overladen with cheese again.
Overall i was told that this was a top spot in denver, but I really dont see it. It makes me question the tongues of the writers and critics at 5280 and others who consistently rate this as a top spot.

There is a tiktok on my fyp showing the kitchen. Its ghastly. The grossest kitchen I have ever seen. I would love an explanation. Is that really the kitchen at this location?.

The first time I ever tried Los dos potrillos was at this location years ago and we loved it . A few days ago I saw a video on tiktok (that’s now been removed! After it gained lots of views and comments) of where they store food and the outside back part of the restaurant and it’s all filthy and the food isn’t stored properly at all . Some wasn’t covered, some was cooked some was raw but all stored next to each other . It wasn’t clean or organized. It made me so sad. I haven’t been to this location in a couple years but I do go to their Parker location often and I just pray they aren’t the same as far as cleanliness and proper food care is concerned . I hope y’all do better

Couldn’t believe how fast the service was. We had 14 people last second and they got us in and out in less than 45 minutes.

Too expensive. The food was not bad but it wasn’t great. We saw this place on instagram and it looked so good, especially the margs but gosh they were so expensive and had more ice in them than anything else! If you let it sit for more than 5mins, you literally only taste water. Won’t be back.

The perfect place for a fun family-friendly time with delicious Mexcian food and drinks! It's loud, so not the best place for quiet conversation, but a very fun atmosphere. The staff are friendly and treat you like family. They do a great birthday celebration! I had the taquitos (aka, flautas) and they were the best I've had in years! I grew up in El Paso, TX, in a Mexican family, and this food is legit! Highly recommend it.

I ordered the chile relleno plate and I was very disappointed in it. I had about 3 bites and all seemed good then on my 4 th bite I didn’t taste any chile. I opened it up and it was only just all batter. No more chile. The second one I opened it up and it only had one strip of chile in it. I can not believe I paid for that. What a complete disappointment. Many people tell me to try this restaurant. I wil never go there again and I’m sorry to say you should not either. It is not worth it. I never write reviews but felt it was worth writing so people understand the food is not worth spending the money. Maybe other things are worth it but this isn’t. I also had dopapias and it did not have any taste to it. If I didn’t put honey on it I couldn’t have eaten it because it had no taste. Why do so many of these restaurants survive since their food is not good. Is it just from past history?

We went here for a birthday celebration. The food was authentic and very delicious! The service by Max was over the top and exceptional!! We are long time patrons. This is our go- to place for Mexican food in Littleton Colorado.
