Amazing spot for Mexican cuisine in Denver. This is the second location I have visited and dare I say the atmosphere lives up to the hype! The iron skillet chicken enchiladas are my favorite, and as an enchilada snob they exceed all expectations. The Felix’s secret key margarita is a must have, but for my second drink I decided to try the Sunset Bloom Spritz which combined an Aperol Spritz with a Hugo Spritz. We will be back!
We had a reservation at 5:30 and when we arrived the host informed us we needed to be done by 7 because they had another reservation. Who greets their patrons with that? The restaurant wasn't that busy. There were open tables when we got there and when we left. The wait staff was great though. I would say the food is a little over priced but was pretty good.
I love this restaurant. It was so nice, great service by Hailey, the redhead, who was so attentive and friendly. We had the nachos, barbacoa tacos, and enchiladas. Delicious. The ambiance is pleasant and welcoming. Excellent place for happy hours, taco Tuesdays, or lunch specials. Oh, don't forget the fabulous margaritas! We will be back!!
