We had an amazing time at the Steamboat Lake Outpost! The room was clean, the lodge had awesome food and a cozy atmosphere, and we enjoyed lots of winter outdoor activities. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. They went above and beyond for us to help us during a tough situation. Every staff member we encountered was helpful, kind and knowledgeable. We will definitely be back!
Seriously the cleanest cabins I have ever been in! Every member of the staff was so friendly! Cabin 1 was the perfect place for our family of 4!

Steamboat Lake Outpost offers enjoyable horseback rides with a friendly "horse team" staff and a scenic trail ride. The restaurant is known for its surprisingly delicious food, with huge $10 salads and a delicious large pizza for $30. The lodge maintains a cozy atmosphere and clean rooms. Guests can also take advantage of mountain guided tours through UTV and snowmobile excursions, which are an incredible experience absolutely worth every penny. The general store is stocked very well and the restrooms are sparkling clean. The staff is super friendly, helpful, and hospitable. The outdoor playground and patio are geared for both little children and fun adults.
