Unfortunately we chose this over 3 sisters and that will never happen again 44 bucks for a dry chicken sandwich which I paid 2 bucks extra to change it to a frozen chicken patty 😭 it was so expensive and I got to eat the fries those where bomb and the sweet tea was great. Maybe don't order the chicken. I have high standards for these mountain town restaurants but this one disappointed me.i wanna love and support this place more than you know but I cannot.

Great find on returning to Texas after a Colorado vacation. Greeted by super friendly staff and served great food, all four of us tried something different and it was ALL great. This place really fills in the food gap between Pueblo and Trinidad. I suspect we’ll be back on the next vacation.

5 Stars - they fed my husband a great burger and fries while on a road trip, clean, good service, hot fresh food, what more could you ask for?

I feel like my friend and I’s clean plates should be an indicator that this place is GOOOOOD! 😆😆 Colorado doesn’t have many notable food places, in my opinion and being from south Louisiana, but this burger joint STANDS OUT. I’m surprised it hasn’t been on Food Network’s Triple D yet.
My friend had the Popper, and I had the Sloppy. All we could do was moan, groan, and thank God for how good the food was. 😂🤣 The workers were helpful and kind, and I appreciated the chill atmosphere and vibe. Our food also came out super quick: we only waited around 15-20 minutes.
If you’re in the area, check out Bolt Burgers and Shakes: you won’t regret it. ☺️😉❤️ It’s especially rewarding after exploring and climbing Bishop Castle. 😅😬😉

If you are reading this review right now and wondering what sounds good to eat, this is the place! Tonight we went there and I ordered a slopper with fries and a strawberry cheesecake milk shake. Everything about this meal was so satisfying. Flavorful green chili smothered over a juicy burger, crispy golden fries and a sweet delicious strawberry cheesecake chunk milk shake. Establishment was very nice, clean and casual. They even had great music playing in the background. I give it all thumbs up!!!

We wanted to try something local but it was very mid. There’s no flavor to the burgers, seems like everything comes frozen or from a can. The presentation is great but way overpriced for what you get. The best part of the meal was the shake. It was $50 for two meals and two shakes.

Everything about Bolt Burgers is amazing! It’s one of the most refreshing meals after a weekend hiking (especially if you’re on your way back from the Sand Dunes). The milkshakes are straight from Heaven! This is the best place to go in Colorado City and easily the best burger in Colorado!

Best burger I've ever had, soooo delicious YUMMY, YUMMMY. Highly recommended if you ever on the road on I-25, close to Pueblo. You have to try it. Good for the entire family you can even sit outside and enjoy, drive through, or eat inside. Lots of good food variety in their menu for every taste. 😋

Food was good a little pricey. The menus had $14.95 and the board on the wall had $17.95 for a slopper. The staff was not too friendly.
