This hotel has not been renovated, as stated in the description. Our dated room was dark and cramped with the smallest bathroom I have seen in a hotel room. However, the location was perfect and the breakfast was excellent. We arrived very late in the night due to severe storms and was offered a late check out with no charge.

I know that the best rating is supposed to be a 5; however, We really wish there was a way to give this place and its Staff a rating of 10! I've stayed in many hotels and this hands-down was the most accommodating and professional experience ever! BigThanks to Ms. Kiki, Ms. Shouronda, Ms. Amber and Mr.Ben! Your kindness shall never be forgotten! All the Best! A. Sidney Rm 444, 441

It's a high quality restaurant inside a hotel. We had a couple of meals and everyone was happy with everything from wings to spicy shrimp tacos and pulled pork sandwiches.

We just departed from a 3 night stay and as much as I dislike having to write a negative review I feel it’s important for the public to know what they are getting at this hotel. To start with, my family has stayed at numerous Embassy Suites throughout Texas and the U.S. and we have always been pleased with our experiences which is why we continue to frequent their hotels. Unfortunately this property does not meet the high standards that other ES hotels have. If you visit this hotel- look up, look down, look all around and inevitably you will see that the hotel has fallen into disrepair. There are buckets and pans all over the place due to the roof leaking. When we entered our room we noticed a musty smell and on day 2 it rained and we heard leaking in our room from the roof. The first night our AC would only blast freezing cold air despite us turning the thermostat as high as possible. After 2 workers came to our room over the first couple of days we learned that our only option was to turn the AC off and therefore the last 2 nights the room was incredibly hot and uncomfortable. Upon our arrival at check in Becka told us that housekeeping needed to be requested 24 hours in advance. We told her we would like our room to be cleaned the following day. Well, the next day no one came so the following day we asked at the front desk if our room could be cleaned. They flat out told us no even though we requested it upon check in and no one had come yet. They said they would bring us more towels and take out the trash. They did end up bringing towels but failed to take out the overflowing trash in our room. It’s disappointing as a hotel guest that has paid for three nights that we were not able to get our room serviced once. As other reviewers have pointed out, this is just their way of cutting costs to save money at the expense of the guest experience. On top of all this, we found fingernail clippings from previous guests on the pull out sofa. So disgusting! Speaking of the pull out sofa- it was incredibly uncomfortable for our 10 year old daughter. You could feel every metal wire and spring and we had to layer multiple blankets so she could sleep on it. There is no way it would be comfortable for a teen or adult to sleep on! My socks were filthy from walking around in the room and the whole hotel just felt dingy and dirty. The only redeeming thing about this property was the excellent breakfast and the kind people that work it. There were many options at breakfast including made to order omelettes, fresh waffles, eggs, breakfast meats, breads, muffins, fresh cut fruit, juices and Coca Cola products among other items. The evening reception was nothing special compared to other Embassy Suites we have stayed at but that’s fine. For what we spent I know there are other hotels in the area that would have provided a much cleaner, comfortable, and pleasant experience in the beautiful city of Colorado Springs. I hope this review helps other families in choosing a better location for your family vacation! I will definitely do better research and read more reviews before ever booking again at an Embassy Suites I have not been to!

The hotel is in a great location, clean and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. We were there for a quick vacation from Texas. We love staying at Embassy for the separate room and breakfast! The hotel is fixing a leak while we were there from all the rain and it’ll hopefully will do a renovation soon. We would stay here again.

This is a lm old hotel that needs ALOT of updating. It’s old, there were water leaks everywhere….including over pool and hot tub while we were swimming. The windows were all leaking water as well into pool area. The breakfast would have been nice but they are under staffed and couldn’t keep up with the demands of replacement of milk, syrup, waffles, eggs, bacon/sausage, and coffee…..sleeping accommodations were not great either. The beds were completely caving in; the couch was unsleepable….. you could feel each metal coil on the bed. Don’t stay here. I stay in hotels weekly for my job; I don’t need fancy just clean and comfortable. This is not it!

This was an overall nice hotel but the elevators were messed up. Our room was nice and quiet. We had comfortable beds. Everything was clean. But for the price the elevator should have been working. They had free snacks and drinks by the bar, lots of kids running around so very kid friendly hotel.

I stay 60-80 nights at Hilton properties per year and this was far and away the worst one I’ve stayed in. It felt like a prison at check in and that was just the beginning of the issues. We were here for a softball tournament and almost every family in our group had issues ranging from bathroom leaks, air conditioning not working, etc. We requested housekeeping almost everyday and they would almost never actually clean. The hotel is doing roof work and it was incredibly loud and we had a major flooding in our room our last night and had to move rooms. Some of our stuff got soaked because we were gone most of the day. While they were nice about helping us at the front desk this hotel is a disaster and I would avoid staying here at all costs.

The hotel is in need of some repairs, only 2 of the 4 elevators worked during our stay and due to heavy rains while we were there the roof had multiple leaks throughout the atrium lobby. The restrooms in the pool area needed repair a much more frequent daily cleaning. Call the hotel direct fiord reservations as even though we booked in Han. for June our rooms were not at all what we were guaranteed. The staff adjusted our rooms as best they could and were very friendly and helpful. Included breakfast was phoneminal, daily drinks and snacks were also well appreciated, healthy snacks but low quality booze. All in all our rooms were nice, spacious and maid service was good.

Pros: Comfortable Bed, Room Layout is spacious (Suite with 2 rooms.... but, aren't all the rooms 2-room suites, so maybe not fair to call it a con?), Manger's Reception is wonderful...good snacks, nice bartenders, Breakfast is good , friendly and professional staff, Room was clean and stocked by housekeeping...no complaints there. Cons: Who owns this place??? I ask this because the problems, and there are many, are not a management issue, they are most definitely something the owner should have addressed long before my review, and frankly, inexcusable for an "upscale (per Wikipedia) property." At $200 or so per night...I expect more. Elevators not working, Worn-out, dirty carpeting throughout this hotel... skylights leaking all over the place during rainstorm, you can hear and see the drips...(these storms do occur almost daily in the summer in Co. Springs...)....buckets and rags set out to catch the leaks...(what the heck, Hilton?), air conditioner in rooms do not seem to be really cooling .....we have spoken to other guests and it is not just our room....(again, what The ACTUAL HECK Hilton?....NOT acceptable...)...the ice machine was barely producing ice (...it struggled to produce half a bucket at 5pm... is this actually a peak demand time? ) I do realize this is not the Hyatt Regency, or even the Hampton Inn, but I have expectations when handing over my $200 plus dollars a night to stay here...the word comfortable comes to mind... The negative issues do not seem to be really something that can be addressed by housekeeping, hospitality, or general management as they seem very competent and professional. Therefore I did not complain to them, these are not problems they can fix, and they seem very competent at what they do. So the fault of this ramshackle Embassy Suites must be THE FRANCHISE OWNER (s) or Hilton Corporate......whoever actually runs this show. Please address this. Staying at an Embassy Suites used to be a treat! Please spend some money and maintain this property. It really is inexcusable. I could post a lot of photos, to bring the point home, but the condition of the furniture in the common area, where the Manager's reception is held, pretty much sums it all up. Tatty. Yes, tatty.
