“Don't believe these negative reviews at all. I eat here weekly. I lived in the middle east for quiet a few years with the military. The food is exceptional the place is spotless and you can't get a better staff. They even have their own grocery store so if you like it. You can buy it and make it at home. Great place for sure.”

“Got ripped off! There’s not much other way to put it than that. We (4) ordered an extra helping of cheese for our two fondues. We ordered these at the beginning so there was no more effort than to put in an extra 6-8 oz. of cheese into each pot. I was really taken back when we got our check at the end of the meal and discovered that I was being charged $28 for each bowl. With tax and a 20% tip that comes to exactly $70 for about 12–16 ounces of cheese that was simply added to our original first bowl of cheese before it was even brought out. This brought our 4 dinners with three glasses of wine and one Coke to a grand total of $475.

In this case, I’m actually saying that a $400 check is reasonable with maybe another $15 or $20 for the extra cheese? But our waitress, who expected a 20% tip on top of this egregious entry on our invoice, entered it as if we came in and only ordered a fondue bowl of cheese which I guess would not be unreasonable to charge $28 if it was sold by itself. But, again, quite offensive to expect an additional $70 on top of a $400 tab.

The food was amazing, appetizing and it was such a comforting experience. They will not give you flatware if you don’t ask for it. But you will be missing the whole Ethiopian food experience if you do not eat with your hands. The place is gorgeously decorated. It is quiet. Staff is super friendly. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️”

“Had an absolutely amazing dinner here this evening, and this place deserves all the love it gets!! It is hidden under the sign of a Vietnamese restaurant, but do not be afraid to come in, or you'll be missing some of the best traditional African food you could get. The jollof rice and chicken was delicious, and we loved trying fufu for the first time. Staff are super kind, and the head chef's son gave us recommendations and made our visit even more special. Highly highly recommended, if you're an African food lover, or have never tried it before!!”

Carlos (the owner) personally greeted us and helped us choose the perfect wine for our meal/made suggestions for us from the menu. Our waiter was absolutely fantastic, too. The food was AMAZING!! “Fish taco was great. Personally not crazy about the meat in the beef taco but that's me and I'm fussy about red meat. The shells were yummy as were the fillings. The food was served super hot and promptly. I feel the two plus a drink were priced at a point where I would consider returning when in the area.

Vegetarian options: Anything can be made without meat; however, I assume there may be cross-action in the kitchen, so don't think everyting is separate.

Dietary restrictions: Ask for what you want and remember that all food is stored and cooked in the same area.”

“So I just started eating at Carl’s Jr. within the last few months it is by far my favorite fast food place unfortunately, due to some medical issues I can I no longer be eating fast food. Not to mention just about not willing to eat out virtually ever again because of his medical issues in the likelihood of that causing a problem again but I will say oh the two ladies working this morning were
wonderful. It didn’t sound like they were having the best shift but, they were still pleasant and the food was delicious. Are used to work overnight so I’ve been there and they were only taking cash I can imagine the system was down or something was wrong but I enjoy sometimes when people tell me they’re not having the best day because then it gives me an opportunity to try to cheer them up a little bit or entertain them if you will. They weren’t negative about it they were just keeping it funky fresh and real and I really appreciate that because to give me a fake smile and say everything is just hunky-dory and wonderful it’s usually something I can read right through. They were not unpleasant they were actually very Very pleasant as I said ti the Ladies I hope your day gets better. Give them a raise!”

She repeated back to me the correct order. Included was a hand scooped milk shake during happy hour. The sandwich I ordered was going to be a minute. I was asked kindly to move forward. As the shake was finished she brought it out. She went back in and soon after came back with my sandwich. I'm writing because she gave me a minute to get some coins together, she counted them, tended to my possible wait time with my shake and all with kindness in her voice and smiles. Glad I stopped in today!”

“Love this place so much! I’m not usually a fan of chain restaurants but my favorite thing about this place is the fact that they source locally as much as they can. We have been here a few times now and every single time it has been great. The food and service are consistently good. Every server we have had was amazing. I used to work in restaurant industry for years so I notice the little things. I love to see multiple managers on the floor talking to customers, refilling drinks, running food. One server I have to point out is Jennifer, she’s never actually been our server but always remembers us, specifically my daughter who was having a meltdown one day and she offered to bring her a bowl of fruit. And we weren’t even in her section. Great service, thank you!”

“This place took me back to ice cream shops of my childhood (and the prices of my childhood as well). Sure there’s no Thai rolled ice cream full of ice crystals, or generic ice cream dusted with Fruity Pebbles for teh Instagramz, but what you do get is homemade hard pack ice cream in over a dozen flavors, homemade gelato, and of course soft serve. I went in with my kid and I was hoping to get their biggest banana shake for myself, and the kid couldn’t decide on a shake or a cone but with Rizuto’s prices I was able to get all three for just under $20 which is really just unheard of these days. The atmosphere was awesome, and when we arrived there was a line spilling out the door onto the adjacent sidewalk. Despite this we didn’t stand in line for longer than fifteen minutes, and when we left it was 30 minutes til close and they still had a huge line out onto the sidewalk. Rizuto’s is serving up quality at great prices and it’s clear that Colorado Springs loves them for it. I’ll be going back as soon as I can, and I’m recommending it to everyone I know. I do wish there was an option to make the milkshakes thicker but it was flavorful nonetheless, keep killing it Rizuto’s!”

“Great burgers and super fresh fries, just be ready for a bit of a wait if you visit during peak hours. Tons of outdoor seating available at this location, as well.

My daughter and I stopped in on the 4th of July, 2024 and it was a little crowded for a late-ish (3pm) lunch, but we had to stop in as she's never been before.

The burgers were great, as always and the fries were fresh, though a smaller portion size than j am accustomed to.

All in all, a good spot to stop if you're looking for a tasty burger.”

“Surprised that it was not as wonderful as I had thought it would be. Excellent service along with an updated, stylish but informal atmosphere, were promising. The food, however, was very good but not great. Had the crispy confit duck tacos as an app where the highlight was the masa taco itself. The confit duck, mole, and slaw were fatty and/or not so flavorful (but the sliced peach “salsa” was excellent).My honey had the chilled asparagus soup which was totally underwhelming. Our shared Caesar salad was a high point and while the brioche popover was excellent the other Italian mini-bread rolls weren't. For mains we had their two most pricey dishes, the rack of lamb and the tenderloin. Both were good but not worth the $65-$70 a shot. That said, the sorbet they offered in celebration of our anniversary was a much appreciated treat, and the completely surprising fact that the couple next to us bought our wine for the evening provided a special honor and absolutely wonderful surprise. Would we go back? Probably not. We'll wait for the reopening of the Penrose Room, which we hear is coming in 2025. But it really was a nice way to spend our 20th even though it wasn't the extraordinary time we were hoping for.”

“The Broadmoor is in its own class, delivering an experience above 5-Stars. The staff are genuinely helpful, here to make your stay an experience you will fondly remember. Pet friendly. Original historic photos and paintings of the Western Art Collection. The restaurants are also top-notch. We tried Ristorante del Lago and Summit for dinner along with Lake Terrace Dining Room for the buffet breakfast.

Outstanding. You cannot go wrong with anything that these guys are serving up. Anytime I have a craving for something from Taco Bell or Qdoba/Chipotle, I just order from these guys instead because the quality is 10x better and it always tastes incredible. My only complaint is that I always eat waaaaay too much because my self-control is non existence every single time I eat their food. And!
