“This was about 3-4 weeks ago. Mildly expensive, but that's just Colorado in general. Convenient being on post. Something surprising was the service. The employee Daymond was cleaning the floor and I was unsuccessfully looking for a straw. Not his first rodeo, obviously, as he asked if I needed a straw and promptly received some for me from behind the counter. He didn't have to do that, but went out of his way to do so. Stellar service. Daymond should be recognized, even though it was "his job", most people take that kind of thing for granted. I believe he has a bright future, no matter where he works. This kind of thing makes the difference between an amateur and a professional.”

“Among the better CONUS DFACs. Ate lunch twice there for $7. Had chicken both time. Received a chicken breast, and either a drumstick or half leg quarter (different each time). Chicken was cooked through and moist (already above and beyond expectations).

Veggies bar day 1 was very limited in stock, but all fresh and unwilted. Day 2 had more options.

Desserts: different desserts both days, but if you are eating here you probably should not be eating dessert at lunch unless you are on ABCP for being underweight.

Drink station had cows milk, unsweetened ice tea, and flavored waters (about half soda calories, so not diet like you find in korea) Silk machine (flavored soy milk) was inoperable both days. Could not find plain water dispenser. There is an ice machine, but I suggest not using it (read about fast food ice machine + fecal particles for why)

Ample seating, and clean, no obnoxious media playing (Fox if liberal, CNN if Conservative)

Pros: good food, inexpensive, clean.

Cons: no calcium option for lactose intolerant/vegan Soldiers, limited low calorie beverage choice. No protein rich entree for vegetarian/vegan Soldiers.

Vegetarian options: Very limited vegetarian options for a full meal. Suggest eating as much spinach as you can stomach for the protein.

Dietary restrictions: Not vegetarian, vegan, or lactose intolerant friendly.

Kid-friendliness: Suggest not bringing children around primarily junior enlisted Soldiers.

Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs, counter height is low, may have trouble reading some placards for food.”

“Wonderful Star Bucks on Fort Carson, Colorado. The staff is nice and has a good atmosphere. Always busy as everyone is always trying to get their caffeine fix. One improvement is that the baristas need to speak up, or yell when orders are ready. No one can hear them and drinks are just sitting there. But that would be the only negative thing for this place. Definitely come if you need a quick cup of coffee ☕”

“Read so many bad reviews I got curious and gave it a shot. Bakery, coffee and sandwiches were pretty good actually. But yes, the atmosphere of this place is pretty bizarre. I heard obnoxious workers talking loudly and gossiping about the most random stuff. If you know Spanish, you might get uncomfortable because you will understand the stuff they are saying. Anyways, just get your food and get out. Food good. Atmosphere bizarre.”

“My favorite location around. They have a sign that they’re understaffed but I wouldn’t know. I order often, always through the app. I have picked up at the drive thru, and had it delivered. It’s fast every single time, the employees are quite kind and quick for being understaffed, and I haven’t ever had incorrect food out of all my orders (and I add extras to my sandwich). I love this location and every employee I’ve come in contact with is great! I just finished the new LTO and it’s amazing, also.”

“The food was fantastic. No complaints. We got lobster with steak, birria, Buffalo, salmon, and fries. Not a single complaint about the food. They were out of steak and asked what we wanted to have instead. We asked for more lobster and/or shrimp. Raven refused on the basis of price difference(steak $6-shrimp $7-lobster $10). Our order was over about $250. I think they could of in the interest of customer service, the price difference of $5, and the amount of our overall order, the restaurant could have made the substitution. We even tipped on our carryout order. Again the food was great. We will definitely return but the customerservice was lacking.”
