“Came here with my husband yesterday around 7. We had the beef lo mein, orange chicken, kung Pao chicken, and steamed rice.Honestly, it was delicious and very affordable. It was quiet in the building and spacious. We never had to ask for refills and the service was quick and to the point.He had ate there last October on a trip and was so excited to bring me here and it did not disappoint.I'd definitely recommend it to anyone and I hope to go back.”

“My boyfriend and I are visiting Colorado from New Jersey and we were looking for a home cookin’ type of place for breakfast. Uncle Sam’s did not disappoint. Between the locals and tourists passing through, the atmosphere was cozy and friendly. Jess, our server, was wonderful and sweet. Biscuits and gravy were the best I’ve ever had, pancakes were fluffy and delicious and came with this amazing cinnamon butter on the side, and the corn beef hash is a must try! Uncle Sam’s exceeded our expectations and we will be back!”

“I will admit that I was hangry before I got here. I was tired, and just flew in from Texas the night before, so I hadn’t gotten the opportunity to eat dinner or breakfast. The atmosphere was very nice. I enjoyed looking at the paintings for sale and thought it was such a nice touch that they included the artist and description for some paintings, alongside a QR code!The workers were pleasant, although I didn’t have much interaction with them myself! They were always productive and with a smile on their face!The wait time was more than I would’ve hoped for, especially with the fact that I was already really hungry. I was with 3 other people and I think the wait was about 20-30 minutes. But the food was delicious!! The pancakes tasted like cake, the fruits were fresh, and the bacon was seasoned and cooked phenomenally.Overall, I had a very nice experience. The only thing I wish could have been different is the wait time and that the butter that came with the pancakes was warm, rather than cold and from a box. I would come here again, and the next time, I’ll try the chicken wrap which my sister thought was amazing!!Parking: Ample parking spots and affordable prices!”

Multi tasked between trash removal and making drinks (with his hands) had to ask the only other person there for drinks because our server disappeared. Cold food was served and we were treated coldly asking to be reheated. over priced and such a waste since the town is so cute.”

“Service was great and so were the little items around the store to peruse while you wait. My family is from New Orleans and have had beignets from there more times than I count so I was hesitant to try these. I shouldn’t have been! These are the best I’ve had outside of New Orleans. Made me want to take a trip back there since it’s been a couple years. Would gladly bring family here. Tried the chocolate dipping sauce to change it up a bit and not sure I’d get again but it was good!”

“Update: After hearing back from the owners, I realize that they are new to the business (less than 1 month) and are still learning the ropes, so to speak. I do believe in extending grace in situations like this, so I bumped the original score to 4 stars instead of 3 with the belief that the speed of service will improve over time.Original post: After reading several reviews, we decided to try this custard place.I parked near the park, so we had a 5 minute walk there. Since it is paid parking, I went to the one of the parking machines and saw you can get 30 minutes of free parking, which I selected, figuring we’d have plenty of time.When we arrived, the line was long, maybe 10-12 people. I soon realized that this line wasn’t really moving. After standing there for 20 minutes, I left my family in line, walked back to the car, drove around looking for a closer spot and got back to my family. There were still people in front of them.When we got to the window, I realized why. There was one person both taking the orders and making each item. Another person was cleaning and doing other things around the kitchen area. That person did help a little bit with our order.So how was the custard? It was good, but it didn’t stand out to me as anything special. We ordered two Turtle Splits and one custom Avalanche with cookie dough. As I said, everything was good. I’ll also add that it was a very fair price. (Note: The menu prices are cash prices; there is a small fee to use credit card.)Seating options were limited around the side of the building. When we were ready to leave, we tried to find a trash can. They didn’t have one that we could find, so we put everything in one of the public trash cans nearby.So would I recommend this place? If you like custard and don’t mind a long wait, absolutely. If there’s no wait, then definitely give it a try!”

“1000 times yes I recommend this place! We heard commotion so we stepped in and it was a borderline raging party! The band was amazing and the crowd was reciprocating. Since the Mardi Gras parade preceded it immediately it was that kind of party vibe. There was a live Emu dancing in the crowd (swear to god) and all kinds of different costumes. We met some new friends, had some great drinks, and danced our rear ends off. I will be checking this place out way more often. As packed as it was, the bartenders were super fast. I would give this place 50 stars if I could”

“Fun for the whole family! Our 3 year old was in love with the singing and dancing! Our 7 and 9 year olds were absolutely captivated! Dinner was a great change from the typical eating out experience and the hospitality was incredible! We can’t wait to come back!”

“THIS WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER BUYING PIZZA! I ordered one pizza for delivery. The delivery driver was late, parked out front smoking in his car for minutes before bringing my pizza. The pizza was a complete uncooked mess. Totally disgusting and didn't eat one bite, I called instantly to ask about the pizza, and they said they would deliver the money back but never did. We called back and they threatened to call the police for harassment and hung up on us.”

“Delicious Mediterranean spread. So fresh and well seasoned. Great portions. 4 stars only for the price being on the higher side. We are a mom and dad with a 6 year old. For a kids meal, appetizer and 2 entrees our total was $80 before tip. From sit down to check paid our experience was about 45 minutes. Not bad at all.”

“My wife and I had the trout and the wahoo. The trout was filleted and cooked to perfection. The wahoo and sauce were delicious . The vegetable sides were not overcooked but retained heat and crispness. We had a Caesar salad that was flavorful and the lettuce was suitably crisp with a generous dressing serving. The dessert was the chocolate mousse dome and it was exquisite. Portions from salad through desert were ample. We are near food coma so we need to hit send asap but not before acknowledging our server Christopher who did everything right with good sense of humor. He was the consummate professional and among the best to ever serve us.”
