Eating here is a must whenever we are at The Trading Post! Every time we are here, the food has been great. This time, we got a bison burger and a chili dog, and we loved it. It was one of the best chili dogs I have had, and my wife really enjoyed the burger. If you stop in, definitely get something from here.
As Colorado Springs locals, this is our local getaway! About 3 out of 4 weeks, we'll hit here after church on Sundays. We LOVE it! The food is always tasty and fresh. As a part of Sperm Donation World Tour of the USA, I came here to experience the Gardens of the Gods and all it has to offer. Love that the park is free, so felt compelled to eat here. I had the Classic Bison Burger the pattie was to juicy and tender made every bite a pleasure to eat.

The Balanced Rock Cafe is a surprisingly good food stop with a decent variety of wraps, salads, sandwiches, bison burgers, and kids meals. The food is made from scratch and absolutely delicious, with specific praise for the chicken Caesar wrap with warm chicken and delicious Caesar dressing. The Cajun fries are yummy with a perfect amount of zest, though the chili cheese fries were just alright. Everyone is pleasantly surprised by the taste, servings, and presentation. The staff is super friendly and extremely kind, making for a very enjoyable whole experience.
