“It's an on time drive in, and has excellent food/service still, even in 2024. I had the green chili fries, and it was enough to fill me up, even without the burger ? I ordered. The shakes have plenty of chunks of real fruit in them. It's one of the few places you can still get an actual malt in town. The prices are reasonable and well worth the cost. Got the 3 piece chicken strip meal that comes with a drink, fries, special sauce, and garlic bread. They gave me 2 sauces, which was amazing because I use alot if it! And if you don't know, they charge you for extra. The strips are very moist, and the breading basically falls off. The fries were perfectly cooked, soft yet crunchy. And they also have the best (huge) breakfast burritos that come with Bacon but I add sausage as well and it makes it perfect. And, as I said, they're big and filling and go so well with either the green(my favorite) or the red sauce(my wife's favorite). I like the green as it's not as spicy but still has excellent flavor. In addition, the people that work there are the nicest and most helpful with answering questions about the menu and great guidance on what's best. “We waited a LONG time for Whataburger to come to Colorado; now there are 6 locations in Colorado Springs?!? I absolutely loved the #5: Whataburger With Bacon And Cheese, Fries, and just to make it special, a Dr. Pepper Shake. The long wait for our order was worth it. I'll ding them for giving us not enough regular ketchup and too much spicy ketchup, instead of just asking us what we'd like, like all other Whataburgers on the planet do. The friendly woman working the counter erased any irritation I felt at having to go ask for more ketchup. I am saddened that they've settled on the used-car-dealership buildings instead of the very-old or medium-old A-frame buildings that they had so much success with.“
