Nit only is their a plethera of parking but it is very romantic you will love the atmosphere in here and the seating is top notch it is worth the trip! The staff there is very welcoming, friendly, and go above and beyond to make sure you have a pleasant dining experience. It can be a bit pricey, but nowadays, everything is. “Had not been there in a while, so not my first time. Service sucked. As I came to the front desk to check on my reservation, I had to listen to a bickering between an older employee giving the younger one a hard time in Japanese. Even while the younger one was trying to check me in, instead of helping the other one kept giving her a hard time. You don't have to understand the language to know the situation. After we were seated and ordered the server kept forgetting what we requested, prompting us to ask again several times, after a long time in between appearances.

Service has to be pretty bad, before I would write a bad review, but I guess this one falls into that category. A let down from my previous visits. I thought I would pass it along.“

Today I tried Sushi Rakkyo, I have been here in the past(years ago), but it was forgettable.

Today, my wife wanted something nearby after moving, so we went.

I ordered the teriyaki entree with shrimp dumplings. To drink, I ordered iced green tea.

My wife ordered a spicy chicken plate and heart attack roll.

The teriyaki chicken was very good and had plenty of chicken. Miso soup was good, but kinda standard. The shrimp dumplings were good, but not spectacular.

My wife’s food was great and also had plenty of meat. Many other places I have been, like to skimp on meat, but not here.

The green tea was the best I ever had. It had a very earthy flavor. My wife’s food even drank half of my 1st and second (refill) of it.

I had a good experience today and look forward to coming back!

“I’ve been coming here for nearly 30 years. It started in 8th grade when I had to do a report on any career and I chose sushi chef. Jun and Roy were gracious enough to let me interview them. Jun’s has become the go-to place for any special occasion for our family - so many amazing memories around those low tables! In short, even though they probably don’t know it, Jun and Roy have added to our family lore in ways I can’t properly express here. Suffice to say, Jun’s is the OG Japanese restaurant in the Springs and is still the best. Only thing I’d change is to bring back the vintage TVs playing the old karaoke videos on repeat. This is your sign to get sushi for lunch today.“

“Excellent sushi, quite possibly the best in town! We will drive many miles just for their sushi. Nice warm Atmosphere, feels very welcoming. Sushi bar, floor tables, tatami, or even hibachi with the fun chefs doing all the tricks. Service is always fantastic. Even had 2 servers waiting on us, possibly even fought over who would serve us. Highly recommend having Ember or Not Ember for servers. Although, a little upset that Not Ember, as fun as she is, would not sit and have sushi with us. She even refused the last piece, which we saved just for her. Otherwise, amazing experience as always. Look forward to next time“

“The spicy tofu teriyaki bowl was TO DIE FOR!!!! The tofu is so PERFECTLY cooked, slight crisp on the outside, with utter rich, and creamy soft centers! Yummy x infinity!! Def recommend. All the stars!!“

“AMAZING!!!!! And I mean it!! The food is always HOT! Portions are good and the price is comparible to other Chinese restaurants. I got the sesame chicken with fried rice, dinner portion, both times I went. That was around $17 before tax. Also, I got crab Rangoon with my 2nd order. They were good. I've had better but they were not bad, I liked them. They came with sweet & sour sauce. Both visits, my food was fresh, all of it. I mean steaming hot! Plus, the food tastes amazing! Both times I didnt dine it. I'm unable to provide information on the service but the people who work there seem to be friendly, quick to take your order & help. Your food will take a minimum of 5 minutes, if not, longer but we'll worth the wait. ITS A MUST EAT AT TYPE OF PLACE! If you read my reviews then you know I dont say that often, if ever but it's extremely rare but I am saying that rare thing... eat here!!“
