“We love Kobe An and have been patrons going back 30 years since they were in Lakewood. Marco has done an amazing job with the new -er location and his staff is well trained. His newer sushi chefs are doing a fantastic job which leaves him free to focus more on the front of the house. We told him tonight that the sushi is the best it’s been in the 30 years we’ve been going to his restaurants. The hamachi and mussels were outstanding, as were the rolls and cocktails. The new Kobe An is the real deal.“

“Best sushi I’ve ever had. We were traveling from out of state & the only thing I have to complain about is there aren’t any locations outside of Denver, ruined all other sushi for me. Can’t wait to come back.“

“Best sushi place in Denver!! Get the sake toro, blue fin toro, and Den Roll and then come back and like this review!
The servers are consistently great. The atmosphere is nice and new. Just an all around awesome spot in a low key area of Denver that doesn’t have the acclaim of Sushi Den and other popular spots but will soon.“

“Quinn and Kristina knock it out of the park every time. This spot is the cleanest and everything is always so fresh tasting. I love coming here for lunch. I found them during restaurant week and they have quickly become a favorite amongst me and my friends!“

“We went for bowls of Ramen to ease our holiday coughs and make the colder weather easier. Excellent ramen, both regular and spicy tonkatsu. Broth, noodles, pork belly were everything we wanted. Home made gyoza worth the order. We'll be back.“

“The food was an array of quality. The beef tartare was insanely delicious. I wish I had more
The nigiri offered felt over priced. I'm not sure if some of the offerings were what brought it up, but some cuts tasted amazing, some just felt like run of the mill. This wouldn't have been an issue if the "market price" wasn't so high. I'd love to have seen a breakdown. The nigiri pricing seemed way higher from other, less bougie feeling, sushi spots around and I didn't feel like each piece reflected that with the flavor.
Also $8 for Asahi beer. Had to have been something about the price of brick and mortar lol. $8 is a tall boy elsewhere
As others have stated. Service is extremely slow. My partner and I waited probably 20 minutes after we got drinks for someone to come by. They tried taking our order as soon as we were seated and then didn't come by again until 20 minutes later.
The atmosphere... It was nice. It was moody and modern and I felt like it was a good date environment and place to dress up. There's two different sides. The front of the restaurant is bright and casual and the back, where I sat, was modern and had some clubby beats and music playing.
Not a place I'd go often but the tartare has me not eliminating it from a revisit“

“This is my favorite kind of sushi. No big fancy building, no frills, just really really solid food. They're rated highly for a reason.
They do a great job with all of the sushi. I love like every special roll.
Honestly we order out as often as we eat there. I probably eat here once a week.
There are fancier sushi places in Denver, but not that do sushi so consistently and well.“

“Nice quiet lunch, with simple homemade tasting food. If I had a Japanese grandmother id imagine this is what the experience would be like. There’s a whole lot of really fancy good food nearby so it’s likely I would not return. Still worth a visit if you’re craving simple tasty Japanese food.“

“Love the look and vibe of this place. Service was kind of slow. I got the curry Katsu chicken with rice and the gyoza. The gyoza was amazing and comes with five in an order. I would get it again 100%! The Katsu curry was not as good as I remember it being when I first went a year ago.“

“Sukiya Ramen is a consistent 5/5.
My usual order is a build your own ramen.
Tonkatsu broth, thin noodles, chicken, crispy onions, crispy garlic, green onions, bean sprouts, and an order of extra noodles.
Consistently delicious every time!“

“All I ever wanted was a place to get an awesome vegetarian bento box and inari. The price is great and the service is friendly. I highly recommend coming here
Vegetarian options: Bento box, bowls, sushi, Inari, poke, ramen, what more could you want?!
Dietary restrictions: They have tons of veggie and vegan option. Every menu item has a veggie option more or less. I’ll eat here as much as possible because of that.“
