“I had the pleasure to eat at this fine establishment over the weekend with some great people! Let’s just say Sushi Den do not disappoint for my fist experience and will definitely be back. Everything was awesome from the cocktails to the Nigiri and high end Whisky!“
“I first heard of Wellness Sushi when they sold their products at Nooch Market (RIP), but never had a chance to try it until last night. I loved everything I ordered, Krunchy Krab, Ohnagi Roll, and Love in the Edo. I can't wait to go back again!“
“we live in the area and bamboo is our favorite local restaurant! dine in, take out, lunch, happy hour, dinner: it’s always great!highly recommend the friday the 13th, rainbow, and unicorn rolls. miso soup and crispy rice are other favorites.Vegetarian options: we have come here with our vegan/vegetarian pals and they love it as well! they recommend green machine and crispy rice.“
“I'd give this place more than 5 stars if I could. It's outstanding!Traditional interior with an outdoor space/seating with Japanese garden. Beautiful!Great food options with a lot of variety. You can't miss. All of it is tasty and worth a try.Domo is doing great things for the Denver food scene and I will be frequently dining here!“
“Excellent sushi restaurant!!! Highly recommend. Many gluten-free options and they do an amazing job preparing the food safely. Presentation is flawless and quality and prompt delivery was exceptional. My only opposition is the pricing. However, it’s comparable to all sushi establishments in the area.“
“Second time eating here--would definitely recommend! Lovely service, chefs, and environment. Will always recommend their Manhattan and of course, any of the chef specials! Looking forward to my next visit with chefs, Larry and Marin! Excited to try Omakase!“
“100% my new favorite place to get sushi! I came across this place the other day and after reading all the reviews I knew I had to check this place out. Cannot beat their happy hour which is also on the weekends which is so nice. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, can't wait to go back!“
“Please bring back the old ramen recipes. We miss the really good vegetarian ramen and the Tonkotsu ramen recipe. The new recipes are bland and don't have the veggies and flavor of the originals! Best small bites: crispy spicy tuna, honey miso eggplant and short ribs.“
“The sushi was superb and the service very good. But the noise level made it not a very pleasant experience. After the music was turned off it was better. A close table of 8 were loud - with no sound dampening features their laughter and conversations were unpleasant.“
“AMAZING GLUTEN FREE SUSHI! The only thing better than the food was our server Rex. Rex was working hard, constantly moving and checking in on tables to see if anyone needed anything. He was a genuine kind and smiling face throughout the entire meal.Every roll was spectacular in appearance and taste. I haven’t had such great service and food in a long time.I was pleasantly surprised to find so many gluten free options! They have gluten free soy sauce (tamari) and many rolls can be made gluten free. Beautiful establishment and staff! I will be coming here again!“
“So glad to find this spot in Denver when traveling here. Came here with my two boys and everyone loved it. Sushi was really great and the ramen was outstanding as well. Tonkotsu broth tasted phenomenal and some of the best noodles I’ve ever had. Ramen egg was perfection. The only miss was the pork chasu, rather thin and chewy instead of a thick cut marinated melt in your mouth kind of pork belly. But I’d still get this ramen at least once a week if i lived close by, it’s authentic and superb. They even had a great Japanese IPA on hand. Thanks for the wonderful meal!“
“Great atmosphere, attentive and caring staff, and even better food!I was blown away by the presentation. The sushi was laid out on a boat with a mini ice sculpture and smoky dry ice.Mika Sushi is a must if you love sushi! I will definitely be back!“
“Went to grab an order for dinner. When I say this is THE BEST sushi I’ve had just moved to the area and this will be my go to spot! The fried sushi is TOP TIER ?Definitely Recommend! If you’re in a hurry I would advise a pick up order it was SUPER Packed and busy the night I went in. But that’s a good thing! However it was a little cramped for my taste but otherwise 5/5 ⭐️“
“I am addicted to this place. I am in love with their Shoyu ramen with soft boiled egg and their vegetable tempura. There are many options for other ramen as well as other Japanese dishes and sushi. It's small but cozy. I just love it!“
“Can’t say enough good things about this place. We went for dinner and we had the most amazing knowledgeable server. We decided to let him guide our meal with his suggestions on what is popular and we had no regrets! Rarely do I enjoy every bite of a meal like this. Highly recommend you try this strategy if the budget allows! Excellent ?“
“My husband and I went to lunch here. I had been wanting to try. And I’m so happy we did! This will definitely be a place we come often. All the food was fresh and delicious. The atmosphere is nice. Restaurant is clean. Staff was very nice. And we loved that gratuity was included already.“
“We were wandering around the Union Station area and dropped in here. Fantastic food and great service. Our server recommended the Shoshito Peppers and that was a first for both of us - but we loved them. The music was slightly loud for our tastes, but not too bad.“
“Have been for the lunch special many times now, 3 rolls for $16. Always fresh, never had a bad piece. Never anyone in the place but it’s still somehow one of the freshest sushi spots in the area. Specialty rolls are also awesome. Such a good unassuming place always coming back!“
“Best ramen ever. I am new to the whole real ramen thing but since I found NEKO Ramen & Rice. its literally all I'm in the mood to eat its both filling and decent priced. You get what you want the real ramen experience. If it was all you could eat I would have it everyday. It the bomb best place ever can't wait to go get more...!!!“
“It has the most delicious Japanese food and most notably, great hospitality. If you're in Denver, this is the place to go for a delicious meal. Please call ahead for reservations. My friends rave about the food here. Don't forget to try the chocolate cake and pineapple flip cake. We will probably go back tonight because we loved it so much. I had the tofu steak and spicy garlic edema beans. Gyoza, paneo oysters, baby back ribs and teriyaki chicken. The sushi rolls were good too!“
“My first time tried Sawara Sushi!! Very very satisfied!! Great service, even greater food!! I would say one of the best sushi spot in Denver in terms of food quality, taste, presentation, and definitely service. Very kind and friendly server, and from the menus that we ordered, the rolls and the sashimi, they are amazing!! Totally recommending this place for sure and definitely will return for sushi craves for sure!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“
“Kokoro is the best place in Denver to get authentic Japanese food. It is SO well priced and yummy. Brought my mom here when she visited (she lived in Japan for 18 years) and she absolutely loved it. Thank you, Kokoro! We will be customers forever!“
“New spot open at 16th & Wewatta downtown -- and I'm always happy to have more sushi around! It's hard with competition like Blue Sushi Sake Grill just a few blocks away -- but here's how I think they stack up. I wish there were more fish/sashimi items on happy hour here (not just the tower and the basic rolls) -- but I also really like the quality of the fish here and availability of things like toro (tuna belly) and yellowtail belly -- neither of which Blue Sushi has. The chef's choice sashimi is a little pricy at $50, but the mega lobster roll is totally worth the $36 if you consider the entire lobster tail inside. Some deets and prices below... LUNCH - Mon-Fri 11am-2pm DINNER - Sun-Thu 4-10pm / Fri & Sat 4-11pm HAPPY HOUR is daily 4-6pm and includes $3 off signature cocktails, $5 hot or cold house sake, $5 Japanese draft beers, $5 house wine, 12 sushi towers (salmon and/or tuna), $5-12 hot bites, and 2 basic rolls for $18. Lunch specials include a sashimi lunch ($25), nigiri & roll combo ($20), sashimi & nigiri combo ($25), poke bowl ($22), spicy chicken or teriyaki bowl ($20), beef bulgogi bowl ($20), and chirashi bowl ($25). Some of my favorite bites I had here: yellowtail sashimi ($20), chef's choice sashimi ($50), and mega lobster roll ($36, but that's with a whole lobster tail in there). You also can't go wrong ordering your favorite sushi/sashimi a la carte -- and I highly recommend the toro (tuna belly) and yellowtail belly! Those aren't cuts everyone carries. Tasty non-fish items are also available, like the kobe hot rock ($30) and wagyu roll (seared table-side, $36).“
“Decent food, granted we gotntgere at midnight. So thank you for being open late. I got the Chicken Fried rice and we ate some Rolls. Rolls were small and ok flavor. Chicken fried rice was good. Honestly, that late we were happy to get food. Drinks and the staff were amazing.“
“This place has amazing selection and great flavors and marinades. Tamir was the best server as he explained the process and some of his recommendations on cooking time and styles of meat to choose from.10/10 would come back hereDietary restrictions: All of their sauces are gluten free“
“This place was pretty awesome! We ate here for the first time last night after a long day at the St. Paddy's Day parade, and the ramen definitely hit the spot! The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars was because of the seating arrangements. They have this long table on the other side of the wall when you first come in and we were sat at the end closest to the front door area and it was just a little cramped and the seats weren't too comfortable. Other than that, no complaints!Service was great, they were pretty busy, so I wasn't bothered by the extra time it took for our server to get to us. Our server was G, and we got very well taken care of regardless! Very good service!Food really did hit the spot! I ordered the Tonkotsu Ramen with an egg, he ordered the Shoyu Ramen with the spicy sesame oil on the side (so he could control how spicy it was), and we also ordered some Seared Tuna and Salmon Nigiri and the Volcano Roll! The nigiri was excellent! They are very generous with the size of the sushi for the nigiri, which makes it worth the cost per piece. The volcano roll was also great and had 8 pieces in it. The only gripe I have was with the ramen I ordered. The pork slices were cut a little too thick, and they were a bit dry, and the ramen needed a little more salt added because the flavor was just a smidge on the bland side. However, it was still very good, and I was pleasantly happy with it overall! We had a great first visit here so I do recommend checking this place out if you're in the area, especially if you're staying at the Hilton hotel across the street since it's within walking distance!Parking: Parking is tricky in this area because it's also full of apartments above the restaurants. If you can find a spot, take it.“
“The sashimi was delicious but the rest of the dishes that we ordered weren’t all that interesting or well executed.Lighting and aesthetic are well done however the restaurant as a whole simply feels like a place to see and be seen. Bumping house music on a Tuesday... personally not my vibe. For the price and atmosphere I would like a higher level of service and knowledge of the menu from my server. I am a big dessert person, but unfortunately none of the dessert options were all that intriguing and the one we had felt like a total afterthought.. it simply wasn't well done.Overall delicious sashimi, but I wouldn't rush back.“
“I grew up in Seattle and Seattle has amazing teriyaki. If you’ve been there you know. I’ve never been able to find anything like it outside of the Seattle area. Then I came here. It’s the closest thing to Seattle teriyaki that I’ve ever found outside of Seattle. I got the spicy chicken and gyoza. The food was delicious. My only complaint would be they don’t give you a lot of meat and they didn’t give a gyoza sauce to go with the gyoza. The service was fast and friendly. The decorations were fine. Prices were good (about 13 dollars for what I got no drink).“
“A Flavorful Escape in Montclair, DenverStep into a world of flavor at Kassai Sushi, nestled in Denver's charming Montclair neighborhood. This zen oasis offers a modern twist on classic sushi favorites, served with a smile. The Spider Roll, a crispy delight of soft-shell crab, and the Spicy Shrimp Roll with just the right kick, were our favorites. Paired with the comforting warmth of their Miso Soup, it was a meal to remember. So good, we found ourselves back the next day! Whether you're a sushi pro or a newbie, Kassai Sushi is a must-visit for its friendly service, incredible food, and serene vibe.Kid-friendliness: We brought our 8 month old.“
“We enjoyed our lunch at Osaka Sushi, the quality food and ambiance was great. The staffs are helpful. They have a wide variety of sushi, rolls and all other Japanese foods. I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone.Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian choicesDietary restrictions: Vegetarian menu availableParking: No problem finding a parking spot in the lotKid-friendliness: Definitely kids friendly and they have kids menu tooWheelchair accessibility: Easy accessibility for people on wheelchairs“
“We went for happy hour and had a great time! We went downstairs to the bar and the service was awesome! Friendly staff and laid back atmosphere. We ordered sushi and it came out super quick and we ate it super quick. We'll definitely visit again!“
“Cute spot on the smaller side. There’s a sushi bar where you can see the staff at work. I used to live next door and boy way I spoiled. Still my preferred sushi in the area despite being ~20 mins away now.I get takeout both in person and delivery. Everything is always packaged so considerately. They include dividers and place hot food on the top - heat rises!I’ve tried a number of special rolls. The simple rolls are delicious as well. Fish always tastes fresh not fishy. Love the tempura veggies!Would highly recommend!Parking: Busy spot but it’s not hard to pull up for takeout. Parking for sit down may not be super close, but it’s residential so you’ll likely find something just may have to walk a bit. Much harder on weekend nights.“
“Hidden at the back of the Sakura Square on 18th St. Reminds me of restaurants I grew on eating at back on Guam. The food was the closest to familiar flavors and comfort I've had since moving to CO. I brought my sister here while she was visiting and we both were happy with the nostalgia. We had the teriyaki chicken and chicken cutlet, both were better than the other Japanese restaurants I've been to here.“
“Let me start by saying that I’ve had A LOT of sushi in my time, and I know a good and bad roll when I have one. This place continues to be my favorite sushi spot I’ve ever visited and I’m honestly shocked that it’s in Colorado of all places. (Pro tip: the 29th Roll and the Pink Lady are absolutely incredible)“
“It was our first time in and we had a great time! Quinn was super nice and gave us super helpful suggestions and super attentive really provided good service. The quality of the food was amazing and everything melted in your mouth 100/10! definitely will be coming back!!“
“We were at the Cherry Blossom Festival and wanted to continue our Japanese cultural experience. We looked up online nearby restaurants… we called and were greeted VERY warmly and inviting and walked here. We had a fantastic culinary dining experience!! Would definitely recommend this restaurant and we will be back soon!! Thank you!!“
“My daughter and I are in the area on vacation and we wanted a unique dining experience. We had too much fun here. What a fun experience. We love trains and it's amusing to have your food delivered to you on our train. The sushi chefs are super fast and our server was attentive. The sushi was really good.“
“My BFF & I have been looking for a new sushi spot after Namiko's in Arvada closed. I think we found it! All the food we ordered came out pretty quickly, was fresh and beautifully plated. The restaurant itself is beautiful & clean. I definitely recommend stopping in.Parking: It's on a small strip of local shops, breweries & restaurants so you have to park usually a block away.Kid-friendliness: We brought a 3 year old. No kids menu but you may be able to find something they like as long as you don't have a picky eater. They also have highchairs (assuming) and booster seats (100% can confirm).“
“I've always ordered takeout, and the service has been very friendly and the place looks amazing inside!! I'm addicted to their Hawaii Roll! I always order that and one other roll, I can't wait to eat at the actual establishment!Parking: You can park in the back but it's difficult since there are other dining areas in the corner. Along with other businesses.Wheelchair accessibility: Come from Broadway to gain easier access, instead of coming from Lincoln.“
“I agree with the comments on other reviews regarding atmosphere here. It’s a very simple vibe, but it doesn’t affect the quality of food. I do think the other comments about the price are subjective as the prices on the menu range from $4 to $16.95. To me, that’s common amongst sushi and Japanese restaurants. Overall I’m pleased with the quality and agree with the cost of the food.“
“I really enjoyed lunch here on a Friday afternoon. We got here a little after 1pm and enjoyed it thoroughly. I had their sushi lunch special and my partner had the Hibachi. Both are fantastic. We will definitely be back ?Parking: They do have parking. It's around the back.“
“Was craving some sushi for a late lunch but I ended up having their seafood ramen which was divine! ? Their takoyaki was piping hot as well. My only disappointment is the portion size of the takoyaki. But nevertheless, I had a wonderful experience here and the best ramen I had tasted! I plan on visiting again soon for more takoyaki and their sushi rolls. And perhaps try some sake as well! ???“
“This was our first time at this place. Walking in our first impressions were good. They had a good amount of anime related figures on the bar. Lots of seating 9 tables plus a long bar. The server was really friendly. The menu is pretty good size too. We got the pork gyoza which was delicious I could eat a dozen of them. And the beef ramen and Tokyo shoyu both hit the spot. In total we paid about $50 with tip. We'll definitely be back.“
“A gem for Sushi in Denver! Sit down or TOGO. It's cozy, clean, and peaceful with multiple fish tanks for decor. Very reasonably priced sushi that has been deliciously fantastic every time I've visited. Staff is friendly & efficient. Would absolutely recommend to anyone with a sushi craving in the Denver area!“
“Uchi was an amazing experience. Everything was perfect — the bursts of flavor, the quality of the fish, the presentation. My girls and I shared many dishes to sample and I have to say, the sashimi (not pictured) was the best of it all. I think I will dream of this place. Our server was also very amazing. He walked us through the entire menu and kept checking on us to ensure our content.I would like to come back some day when I have a bigger budget to try more items on the menu!We spent $129 for 4 girls + drinksDietary restrictions: They made sure to ensure that their customers’ allergies were concerned!“
