The fish is always served at exactly the right temperature, which is surprisingly rare and makes such a difference. The spicy edamame is truly one of a kind and a must-order every time.

“Stopped in after a haircut next door at cedar, it wasn't busy in the late afternoon early eve which was really nice. I had Kin Nori Bar on my radar so it was a happy accident to be right next door. It was dark and chill which I loved. The menu is super minimal which is a good sign in my opinion.
Everything I had was amazing, I was so impressed, the toro with caviar was a perfect bite and the unagi was so light and buttery! Everything was really fresh and high quality. The waitress was lovely and the chefs on display were amazing. I can't wait to come back again for a date night!“

I ordered salmon, amberjack, and scallop nigiri, along with a negihama roll, and everything tasted fresh. What We Tried & Loved:
Carne Asada Loaded Nachos – Perfectly crispy tortilla chips piled with tender steak, gooey cheese, pico de gallo, and sour cream. Total crowd-pleaser!

Chicken Flautas – These rolled tacos served in a cup were genius for a night at the bar, topped with fresh lettuce, tomato, and Cotija cheese.

Traditional Carnita Tacos – The street taco dream! Tender carnitas, cilantro, pickled red onions, and a salsa so good I wanted to take some home.

The combination of fantastic food, creative drinks, and lively ambiance makes Con Safos a place I’ll definitely return to. Highly recommend!“

Okinawa Sushi on Tennyson serves some of the freshest sushi and sashimi I’ve had in Denver. Everything was fantastic — from the Yellowtail Jalapeño and Red Snapper Carpaccio to the specialty rolls like the Snow White and Playboy.

The fatty tuna nigiri was unreal — melt-in-your-mouth perfection. Beautiful presentation, great service, and a cozy spot right in one of Denver’s best streets. Can’t wait to come back!“

I absolutely love this sushi spot. It’s become one of my local favorites. The service has always been fantastic.

The Kenji Veggie Roll, Spicy Maki Roll, AAC Roll & their mussels are all amazing. The Kenji Veggie Roll has mango & cream cheese along with fresh veggies inside. The mussels are some of the best I’ve had in Colorado.

The fish tank was a plus too and all of the fish were really cute. I live right around the corner so I will definitely keep coming back.

The fish is sourced directly from Hawaii to Denver, and it was hands down the best poke I’ve had in Colorado. If you’re ever in Denver, I definitely recommend checking them out. Their poke nachos are absolutely out of this world!“

And then the sushi, the nagiri. I hadn't had such fresh teaching seafood since I was on the beach in Mexico years ago.
