“Best ramen EVER! We stumbled upon Uncle over a decade ago, and since then anytime we’re in CO we come for dinner. The spicy chicken ramen is hands down the best, love all of the bao buns, eggplant is my favorite, but can’t go wrong with crab or pork belly ones either. We’ve never had anything bad, service is always great too! Be sure to make a reservation.“

“A very mixed review: I ordered the Chashu ramen: porkbelly was perfect, beautifully cooked. Noodles were great chewy texture. However, broth was like drinking slightly salted water and was disappointing. All it had was some bean sprouts, some green onions, and a perfect cooked poached egg. Meh.

Service was great, looked like good teamwork in the kitchen. I smell like deep fryer oil though. This place really lost the essence of what ramen is, and not a single asian person in sight.“

Oh my flerpin gerd on the food. The ramen. So warm and cozy and full of joy and vibrance. Could help anyone to the worst of times.

And then the sushi, the nagiri. I hadn't had such fresh teaching seafood since I was on the beach in Mexico years ago.

And that one where they get that smokey flavor with the torch!??? So much flavor making a little party in my mouf.

“Can we talk about our culture of inauthenticity and mass production in the age of covid? The antidote is Ramen Star. Hot (but high quality) sake and a bowl of their homemade kimchi ramen (with in-house broth) is the power lunch that strengthens the host to fight the invader. My dining in experience was further enhanced by the handmade metal screens (made by the head chef), subtle decor and gentle piano music. The quality food was equally matched by the service. “So good!!! Cute little place on Colfax - recommend parking on a side street and walking over due to construction. They have numerous vegetarian ramen dishes. I had the spicy version and it was incredibly delicious and a huge portion. Staff were nice and the service was quick. I shall return!“

“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Menya Ramen & Poke, and it was a truly wonderful experience. The food was absolutely delicious — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Every dish we tried was outstanding and exceeded my expectations.

However, what made this visit especially memorable was the exceptional service from Vanessa. She was incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely welcoming from the moment we arrived. Her warm personality and thoughtful service made the entire experience feel even more special.

I usually don’t write reviews, but Vanessa’s kindness and professionalism truly impressed me and inspired me to share this. It’s rare to meet someone who cares so much about making guests feel comfortable and happy.

“Walked from our hotel and got sat immediately. Service was super quick! I think our whole experience was about half an hour, but I have a small stomach. Lots of leftovers.

Only negative, which isn't their fault but a manufacturer issue, is that the togo container for the soup failed and the entire bottom came out. They have really GOOD bags! Lol.“

“My first visit and the food did not disappoint. There was a wait for some of the food but it came out hot and fresh especially my Takoyaki appetizer. My only slight disappointment was that the egg on top of one of my ordered dishes was a little over salted for my taste. “We started coming here about a year ago for their awesome lunch sashimi specials and somehow it quickly turned into an almost-weekly tradition. Whether it’s a quick workday lunch or a full-on family feast, this place never misses.
The fish is always served at exactly the right temperature, which is surprisingly rare and makes such a difference. The spicy edamame is truly one of a kind and a must-order every time.
David takes incredible care of us on every visit, and our kids beg to come along because they feel like total VIPs. Warm, consistent service and truly excellent sushi. We’re so lucky to have this place in our neighborhood!“

“Mugi’s ramen is delicious. I don’t eat pork or shellfish and there are options you can remove or modify which is greatly appreciated. The music is fun and upbeat and Pan’s service was impeccable for a quick dine in. We were walked through the menu very thorough and it was pretty great. Glad we checked it out!“

“Soooo good! I crave this place weekly! I saw bad reviews about the beef hot pot but I thought it was delicious! The beef is supposed to be cooked prior and dipped in their house sauce. The house sauce is perfect for dipping and all the veggies and add ons in the hot pot were great. I can barely finish it every time because there’s so much so it’s two meals for me. Their Thai hot pot is also one of the my favs and you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. The staff is super friendly and helpful and the owners are so sweet and accommodating. “There was no bok choy or sprouts in my bowl as the description says. I also paid for an extra egg to be added and there was no yolk it was just the whites. The flavor of the rest was really good though and the chasu buns were delicious.
Ordered to go and had to wait an extra 20 mins beyond the expected pick up time.“

“Ill start with the positive: all the food was great, we had the snow white appetizer plus the Hawaiian and Dynamite rolls. + some seaweed salad, salmon sashimi and a fried rice dish. Thumbs up for all of that. The food was ready about 15 minutes after the expected time and they forgot to include the spicy crispy tuna for the promotion so that was a little disappointing.“

This was the shit - authentic ramen. My date loved her poke bowl. The bao special was fine, but it’s the ramen that will bring me back.“
