“Such good food! The buffet is amazing! There is plenty of variety to please everyone. The saag paneer is delicious. One of my favorites. I have celiac but almost everything is gluten free. There's also plenty of vegetarian options. Plus meat dishes that are chicken and lamb. All of it is just delicious! Only complaint is that the raita is spicy. Usually that's what I use as a fire extinguisher because I love spicy food as long as there's something to cool down a little. It really surprised me.”

“WE LOVE WONG WAY! Not only have my wife and I been going to WongWay for years at the City Park Farmers Market and absolutely loving their food, but we just had them cater our all vegan wedding (for 170 people) and they did such a fantastic job! They did appetizers, a full buffet, and a dessert bar, and everything was delicious. We have gotten so many compliments on the food, even from non-vegans :) More than just their amazing culinary delights, Natalie and Lisa are just genuinely kind people who were so easy to work with and felt like friends from day one. We could not recommend them highly enough whether you are just grabbing a meal at their food truck somewhere around town, or looking for catering for a larger event. You will not regret it!!”

“I had a great meal here on a Saturday night. All the dishes were delicious and the meal was well paced. Service was very warm and professional. Standout dishes were the agnolotti, wagyu salume, and the salmon. Great wine selection. Atmosphere was lively but intimate. I would certainly come back again in the near future.

“Ate off the vegan menu. The cold tofu, zucchini and eggplant dishes were all excellent. I really appreciated that each had a unique flavor profile (peanut sauce, ginger, soy and garlic). The Singapore noodles were a miss for me. Dishes come with rice but you need to ask for more than one medium serving. I didn't see desserts on the vegan menu and now I'm wondering if I missed out on the tofu pudding.”

“Amazing experience; made our night. Showed up to find a 1.5 hour wait. We stayed in the entryway to keep warm and plan where to go wait and chatted with the hosts. Once they found out it was my girlfriend's birthday, they went above and beyond to get us in. They warned us we might be standing for a while, but as soon as we entered a table opened up, and with some luck the table right next to it opened up right when the rest of our party arrived. They even brought out a birthday card from the stuff. This is first-class service.”

“I did some research on local restaurants before my 3 day trip to Denver and was so happy to have found Lucina Eatery. Let's start with the vibe and atmosphere. I felt right at home. The staff was fantastic from Alexander Moon (GM) to Billie (bartender with the right amount of sass, playfullness and desire to please). NOW FOR THE FOOD. Well I went back 2x over the 3 days the food was so good, I sat at the bar (a lot of fun since I was by myself) and felt totally welcome and comfortable. THE CEVICHE and BROCOLLI were to die for. I have 4 orders of Ceviche. I love this place and will be back”

Not many restaurants season a fish 24-hour ahead of time, the black cod is really tasty! Filet Mignon was also really good, loved the desert as well!”

“Miss Trina TOOK CARE of us!! We ordered from Boney's BBQ for a work luncheon to celebrate the opening of our new office in Denver, and ordered a fantastic smorgasbord of BBQ. We have vegetarian colleagues, and a few with sensitive gluten allergies - and Boney's had a plethora of gluten free/vegetarian options. We ordered the broccoli salad, cucumber salad, garlic mashed potatoes, mac n' cheese, brisket, pulled pork, pulled chicken, and bbq jackfruit. Everything was fantastic - and Miss Trina didn't lie; the brisket was FANTASTIC! Everyone was pleased as punch with lunch, and we have plenty of leftovers too. A big thank you to Boney's for their helpfulness, excellent service, and delicious bbq!”

“We were here a couple times while staying at the DoubleTree. While it’s a hotel restaurant the food was fresh and the service was great. The last night we were here a couple was being very belligerent with the bartender, who handled it professionally. The service and the freshness of the food were great and we appreciated an easy option while traveling.

“Be aware they are now charging a “service charge”. It’s was not noted on the menu nor did the server inform us of the charge. The only reason I found out is I requested a printed receipt. The receipt recommended an additional tip be between 2-7% on top of the charge. Yet when I paid the machine prompted an additional 15 or 18% tip so I tipped 18 even tho our service was bad cuz I use to be a server. The unfortunate part is I didn’t look at the receipt for over a week after I visited. I’m very disappointed that I’m being charged a “service fee” and at no time was it ever brought to my attention that this is a new thing.”

“Literally the best deal in Denver for food. 2 slices and a soda for under $8. I’ve driven through here twice in my way to work and the owner Steve is the kindest most genuine person. The pizza is delicious, their homemade desserts are great. Seriously, one of the best meal deals out there.”

While so much of the rest of this world has lost civility, class and gracious manners, Shanahan's delivers on all of that, from every single employee we encountered. And the food? Our party of three prefers seafood to red meat and so we opted for Chilean Sea Bass, Parmesan-Crusted Halibut and Salmon, which were all beautifully presented and uber-tasty. Our colossal shrimp cocktail and coconut shrimp appetizers were delicious and of good proportions. Garlic mashed potatoes and creamed spinach were shared and enjoyed. Our entire evening provided us with an "old-world" class dining experience from start to finish. Please continue to maintain these high standards, Shanahan's. We'll see you again, soon!”

John, the owner, stepped up to save the day after another bakery canceled last minute on a birthday cake I had ordered. With less than 24 hour notice, during a peek rush and on a weekend at that, I could not have been more pleased with what he put together for me. After explaining my situation and that it was for my partners 35th birthday party that was a little gay, little disco, little cowboy, I didn't expect anything more than an icing piped "Happy Birthday". Picture attached because he knocked it out of the park and words don't do it justice. Not only did the cake live up to the party theme (and then some) it was DELICIOUS and when he quoted me the price I couldn't believe how affordable it was. If your'e needing a baker in the Denver area, trust me, you can't go wrong with John and his team at le' Bakery Sensual. It will be my first and only stop from here on out.
